80s music: Discussions

I am selling part of a collection of ticket stubs and unused tickets from the 1980's

In the late 80s on an alternative station I heard a cover of "These Shoes were made for Walking" and I can't remember who sang it and the only artists that come up on any searches I've done are Roseanne Cash and Jessica Simpson, and neither one of those are the one I'm looking for. Thanks for any help!

Big enough to make some money with? Not sure but I hope so... =)

My husband and I are in the process of listing our entire CD collection. Please check them out as we have some rare and collectible CDs in there as well as a lot of just great music. Thanks!

1. New Order- "Blue Monday Single", B-side = "Touched by the Hand of God".

2. Pet Shop Boys- "It's a Sin" single. B-side = "You Know WHere You Went Wrong", and a 7" version of "It's a sin".

3. The Smith's- "Hatful of Hollow", complete album, contaning classics, such as "How Soon is Now", "What Difference Does it Make", and "This Charming Man".

4. Yellow "The New Mix in One Go", highlights from 1980-1986, including the classic- "Bostitch". 2 LP's.

5. Gary Numan- "The Pleasure Pricnicple" This mint, 1979 classic, includes the big hit "Cars".

6. New Order- "Brotherhood". This 1986 LP debuted the hit, "Bizarre Love Triangle".

7. Yazoo (Yaz before they were forced to change their name in the US by a lawsuit for copywrite infringment). Single of the classic "Situation", with Alison Moyet on vocals. Dub version on B-side.

8. Yaz- "Upstairs at Eric's" This, their defining album, has one hit after another. Every song got tons of recognition, including, but not limited to the following: "Situation", "Don't Go", "Only You", and "Bring your Love Down".
