Helo. I just wanted to Thank the person who answered my post. It sound like fun. I mostly specialize in Fashion illustration and Flowers. I am not sure if I can paint that little or draw. Does anyone shrink their original drawing to fit that size and what size would shrink to a Aceo Size Card. I also do sports figures, but mainly in pencil. I like to catch the dynamics of the swing. I love a beautiful swing the second before the ball hits the bat and the power is released. With the use of steroids by players, you don't see the dynamics or beauty like a Joe Dimmagio. Watching the World Series, I did not see that moment.Mostly power but not finesse. I have a few I did years back and would like to see if I could shrink to fit.
The person who answered was asking about oil paintings. I would say use enough time that there is no odor as people might be allergic. I use acrylics because I am allergic to oils. JMHO
I'm thinking of doing an oil painting that I may eventually sell. I know oils take a REALLY long time to dry and was wondering how long should I wait before selling the painting and how to go about protecting it during shipment? Anyone with oil painting/selling experience? Please help! Thanks! =)
Hello everyone, I just wanted to say hello. I realize that ACEO's have been a round for a bit but i'm very new to them, and lets just say it was love at first sight; once I found out what they were. I am an active graphic novel/ comic artist, and most of my work envolves and reflects my love for anime and cartoons. I'm working on my first series of ACEO cards, and having a lot of fun drawing them!
Everyone is welcome to check out my website which I will be listing all of the ACEO's that I have done.
Someone had a blog about this and I wanted help and information,, I want to unjoin with zero replies it is embarrassing. I think I need to join a beginners group with generous mentors.
These are all dragon related, also i've done them in manga. Please take a look and tell me what you think. I'm SUPER paranoid that no body will buy my artwork.
Hello fellow artists & art lovers! I just recently started selling aceo's this past January. Learning the ropes...the ups & downs...the excitement of each sale still gets me. My sales are a bit slow going but I'm not about to give up...art is all I've ever wanted to do in one form or another...so this girl is gonna keep at it. I see many many talented artists posting everyday! I feel privileged to be able to be among you.
Best of luck to everyone & if you get a chance, please stop by & check out my artwork...feel free to comment &/ sign my guest book...or to bid!
Hallo all. ^.^ I'm new to the ACEO game, or business? Depends on how you look at it I guess!
I noticed this neighborhood had been quiet so I thought I'd babble a bit to introduce myself.
I'm a painting student just a heartbeat from my bachelors. I've always loved working small and am surprised my professors never pointed me in this direction.
I'm testing the waters with eight different ACEO's to see where my niche might be. Wish me luck. :-)
I am not that new to ACEOs and ATCs but I did just start making them earlier this year. I do have one ACEO up for auction right now. What do you guys think? If this goes well I'll put up some more. :P
I have posted here before but no reply, so maybe if I start someone will join in. I'm just an ole country gal who loves to paint aceo's. Tell me about what you like to paint.
