We just watched it last night and we were busting up over the Ryan Seacrest scene! OMG!!! That was hilarious!!! Great movie, BTW. Go rent it if you haven't seen it yet! Very sweet and funny film.
This seller is offering to vote for the highest bidders person of choice in next weeks final two vote. Too funny, I wonder if David A's Dad will bid on it?
Just for those that are interested, she arrived last night about 2 hours late. You can see some poor quality pictures of her arrival at the following link.
I don't know if it's scripted or if Ryan Seacrest just comes up with his own dialogue, but what he did to Michael Johns on the results show was just cruel! I don't know if the kids knew the loser would be going home, but I saw the look of hope on Carly's face when Ryan said last year they didn't send anybody home during Idol Gives Back week. Oh, but sorry this time Michael's going home. That was cold. =[
On the bright side, I heard that Dolly Parton called Michael wanting to record a duet with him! And Keith Urban called to say Michael was his fave. Very cool. My husband predicted last night that Michael is gonna be a huge star. I agree.
Still not much activity here in the neighborhood, so going to post part of our blog post from 03-08-08 here:
Thursday Night was the 'Results Show' where the results of "America's" votes were broadast.
This was the Third Results Show of Season 7, where 2 'boys' and 2 'girls' were sent home.
The below were the scores of the contestants that were sent home as ranked by Tina and Michael on the night of their performance:
The 'Results'
(No #) Name of Contestant Michael's Take Score Difference Tina's Take 1 Kady Malloy 6.0 0.5 6.5 2 Luke Menard 6.5 0.5 7.0 3 Asia'h Epperson 6.0 0.0 6.0 4 Danny Noriega 6.0 1.0 7.0
The votes for so early in the process were higher in number. Almost 36 million votes came in.
The following are our thoughts after watching the performances nights and the results show night:
Tina said that she was right again! On all 4 of her choices that were going home...
Michael said that all 4 contestants tonight sang their finale song better than when they performed for the votes... could it be that the stress was over and they loosened up??!!
Next week on March 11th, the Top 12 Contestants go to a New Set! Plus that is the Night the Lennon-McCartney Songbbook is opened for the first time for American Idol! We'll be looking forward to it!
We have on fixed price 1 Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol (Game ONLY) for Sony PlayStation 2 NEW FACTORY SEALED SHIPS SAME DAY IF PAID BY 4P & INTERNATIONAL. The receipt is included. A headset or microphone is required, but not included.

Since there still isn't much activity in the neighborhood as of this morning, going to post 'Our Take' from the first results show as seen in our eBay Blog:
Thursday Night it was the 'Results Show' where the results of "America's" votes were broadast.
This was the first Results Show of Season 7, where 2 'boys' and 2 'girls' were sent home.
The below were the scores of the contestants that were sent home as ranked by Tina and Michael the night of their performance:
The 'Results'
(No #) Name of Contestant Michael's Take Score Difference Tina's Take 1 Garret Haley 8.0 0.0 8.0
2 Joanne Borgella 8.0 2.0 6.0
3 Amy Davis 8.0 1.0 7.0
4 Colton Berry 8.0 1.0 9.0
The following are our thoughts after watching the performances nights and the results show night:
Garret Haley - Michael was surprised that Garret was cut so quickly at the beginning of the show, but then again it was the first Results Show, so a 'shocker' start would keep 'America' tuned in. Tina wasn't surprised although she had ranked others lower in performance than Garret.
Joanne Borgella - Ryan had Amanda Overmyer and Joanne stand up together... one was going home. Now that would have been a shock if Amanda had been sent home as both Tina and Michael gave Amanda a 10.0 each! However 'America' got it right between those two and Joanne was sent home...
Amy Davis - At this point in the eliminations there are usually too many choices and those contestants that don't stand out right away are cut. Tina ranked Amy's performances as the 8th lowest so it wasn't a surprise to her. Michael also had Amy ranked in the bottom quarter of contestants so no surprise there....
Colton Berry - Now Tina and I were both surprised that Colton was chosen to stand as one of the two to go home, but when it came between him Chikezie, it wasn't a surprise that it was Colton going home. Early on 'America' gets into different "camps" and votes for 'favorites' instead of by performances. Chikezie was both Tina's and Michael's lowest ranked 'boy' performer, but it was not he who went home....
This early in the elimination round it is hard for Tina or myself to get overly upset that someone is cut... as neither of us has invested enough time in watching a contestant make a run for the Idol crown. We aren't as close to these contestants as those that are actually participating.
However it is a little unusual this early in the game for tears to flow and flow by any contestant like Ramiele Malubay, who we thought did an excellent job performing, but come on, the overflow of tears for those going home that night was a little much this early on...!
I am always amazed to the talent on American Idol. The first auditions are hard to watch when people have their feelings hurt. Some are probably aired for entertainment purposes only on tv. Hope they paid them :)
I love knowing the background for who/where/how they get to Hollywood ~
I don't see any new activity here in the American Idol Neighborhood, so going to print this from our eBay Blog post earlier this past week:
Randy Jackson On The Larry King Show 02-22-08
While Tina was waiting for me last night to finish up a project and join her, she was channel flipping and found that Randy Jackson would be on Larry's Show.
So I finished in time to join her watching Randy have a good time being interviewed by Larry King.
Quite honestly, before his American Idol gig, I hadn't known that much about Randy.
It was nice to see what else he is currently doing besides AI.
For those of you that have a chance to view this, it was a good half hour interview. Recommended viewing for those that are AI Fans and wanting to know a little more about Randy!
The Neighborhood Discussion Threads won't allow html so please look at our latest blog post that has the links to all of our Blog Posts On Season 7 so far!
When does the new season for American Idol start? I can't wait to see the new talent! I like listening to Kelly Pickler talk and sing and hope she may be a guest.
By posting our blog post from May 24th 2007 to see if we can add to the discussions of this new 'neighborhood':
Results From American Idol's Grand Finale
TV Show 05-23-07 ' The Final 2 '
Well, It's Over.... "America" voted Jordin Sparks The 2007 American Idol last night!
It was a looooong night before Ryan read the results, but a lot of different genres of music were presented before the night was over!
Tina and I had mixed feelings on the music played last night:
We both liked the Top 6 Boys singing with Smokey Robinson.
We both were entertained by Doug E Fresh and Blake Lewis beat-boxing.
Gladys Knight and the Top 6 Girls were fun to watch.
It was strange seeing Blake and Jordin singing 'I Saw Her/Him Standing There' to open the show.
I liked Sanjaya's rendition of the Kinks 'You Really Got Me!' along with Joe Perry of Aerosmith. Tina thought I was kidding....
Tina thought it was cool that 'Green Day' performed. I didn't.
I enjoyed Taylor Hicks solo performance. It reminded me how much I enjoyed last season!
Just before the end of the night, Tina was in agony through the Beatles medley... "why why why are they doing this to us?" Tina also thought Reuben singing 'Lucy In the Sky' was horrifying!
I thought that beginning a Beatles medley was fine, but it ended at 9:58 p.m. !!! Although I did enjoy Chris Sligh starting 'With A Little Help From My Friends'! The show was definitely going into overtime, ending at 10:08 our time!
A record 74 million votes the previous night, a new record for American Idol. American Idol is to return January 2008 !
Please see our previous American Idol blog post 'OUR TAKE' on our thoughts of this past Tuesday night's performances, (all six songs) by the Final Two, Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis.
The following are our thoughts on the results:
Tina - said upon hearing Jordin was the new 'American Idol', "Big surprise", sarcastically.
Michael - I wasn't as pleased as I was at the end of last season when Taylor Hicks won.... I had been invested in him before the end... Neither Jordin or Blake were overwhelmingly my favorites during the season. Tina still can't believe I voted for Blake the last two weeks, as I never listen to the kind of music he prefers to perform!
NEXT WEEK: What NO NEXT WEEK???!! ..... Well then, it's time to say Thanks to ALL of YOU that have checked our blog posts this Season! Special Thanks to YOU that took the time to post your comment(s) on our blog posts! That is what makes it fun for us to continue blogging!
