someone who is knowledgeable about wooden folding chairs, please e-mail me and i can attach some photos I am having difficulty locating when and who made my chairs and how much the market value potential is.
I have three old chairs, and besides the value in our family I would like to know is they have any value to them , the age of the chairs and what kind they are. Basically all i know they are very old. I would be glad to email anyone some photos so they can help me or if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. I cant figure out how to show them on here for help, I didnt realize I had to go through ebay for contacting and receiving messages , so for the help I asked for earlier, please just contact me through ebay, sorry for the misunderstanding. If you can help, please email me. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
I have this antique 1946 chevy firetruck. It was in working order until just a few years ago, maybe 10. I have looked and tried to find some info on this fire truck but am having absolutely no luck. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this or maybe how much it might be worth. Thanks so much for you time. Kristin

I have a nice set of dining chairs that are dinged through the clear finish right down to the raw wood. It is noticeable. I don't want to completely strip that many chairs. They are old and detailed. The dings are distracting and noticeable. I really want to improve/ restore the look of these chairs. Has anybody come across this before and found a solution?
Hello everybody. I'm new to the neighborhood. I have been collecting & buying on ebay antique cast iron things for awhile, and I wanted to give some advice when shipping cast iron pans, trivets, bookends, match safes, banks, cast iron etc...Some people don't know this but cast iron items are fragile, especially the older pieces, and can easily break and chip, especially when it's cold (like now) sitting in a warehouse or postal truck waiting to be delivered. The item should be wrapped first in either bubblewrap or in several sheets of paper first before pkg. (keeps it from shifting in the box better), and with enough pkg. peanuts/crumbled newspaper around it to keep it away from the sides (so if it gets bumped or dropped), and put into a large enough box. These items are pieces of our history and it would be a real shame to lose them! By the way...I have a very choice swag lamp up on auction for a few days more, not sure if it is from the Hollywood Regency period or the Eames Era. Does anybody know? Thanks a bunch for your time and help!
Does anyone have any information on Wedgewood Furniture Inc? We inherited a leather sofa and the tag says "Wedgewood Furniture Inc Newton, NC" and we wanted to find out more about it but have been unable to find anything on the web.
My mother in law has a bedroom suit that was made by the Wisconsin Cabinet Company. The bedroom suit has a little bit larger than a full bed size headboard and footboard, a chester drawer, a dresser with oval miror, all drawers lock by a key, the legs on the chester drawer and dresser have claw feet and wheels. It has a sticker on the back of the dresser and chester drawer that say made by Wisconsin Cabinet Company, makers of fine cabinet furniture, Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Would like to know if the company is still around, have seached the internet, but have not found anything but a webpage that is under construction. And see when this furniture might have been made.
