I have been given a small antique sewing machine the only marks is the name Cinderella on the head and lots of gold and red and pink scrolls and flowere on the head and base. NO case just the head. There is a plate on the base with SPECIAL QUALITY Made in Japan. No other numbers or anything. If anyone has ever heard of one please inlightin me. I have looked every where. It is 10" by 12" and all metal.
This machine is now for sale at a local garage sale. I have never seen one of these and was wondering if I should buy it for auction. Any suggestions? It is in a wooden carrying box and it does work. Any help? The sale is over soon and they are asking $30.00 Thanks, Terry

I saw a machine at a friends house yesterday that was really interesting to me but I can't seem to find any reference to the brand. It looks a lot like a Featherweight but it is a metallic blue and has the nameplate attached that says "MetalCraft". I'm pretty sure it is a generic machine made in the US. It is really a good looking machine and I would like to make an offer for it but I want to be fair and would like some additional info.
Also, I have a Singer treadle and the belts that I can get are leather like and dry out fairly quickly in my studio. Is there any other type of belt that will work? Thank you.
I just inherited a really nice looking machine. It is a White Rotary Model 666. I did not get the parts or a manual. I sew mostly cottons & wools, and sometimes synthetics. Since I do not have parts I cannot even try this machine out. Is it worth getting it running or was it a clunker? I cannot afford to buy the parts if it is not a good machine. I would like to be able to use it since it was my great aunts and she made many things with it when I was little. I need parts and the manual if it will run
I have a 1949 Domestic sewing machine. It is cast Iron. The little rubber wheel that attaches to the motor and turns the needle is worn, and I was wondering if there is any chance of finding a replacement.
I have an unusual treddle. It's named "The Free" The wooden cabinet sides go all the way down to nearly the floor. The front swings open and the treddle pedal is elevated. As you lift and open the cover, you also step on the pedal and as both actions occur, the head automatically raises. With the cover open, the balance keeps the head in the operational position. Since the front of the cabinet has been opened, the pedal is exposed and lowered for use. It's new enough that it has a bobbin instead of a shuttle. I'll delivered photos shortly.
Has anyone ever encountered a machine like this brand or design? What might you be able to tell me about it.
Can anyone give me any information on Light Purple Dressmaker Sewing Machine? The only number I can find on the machine are AA21 491-23166. I do not know if these are model or serial numbers and cannot seem to find this machine anywhere on the internet.
