I have been going to yard sales for years. While in an antique shop last week there was a like item I had just purchased for $1 and they were selling for $40. How do I begin to learn the value of the room full of dishes, furnature and misc items I have collected over the year?
Hi all. I have a bristol blue antique library lamp. My question is about cleaning. The copper has a couple of hundred years of patina on it that I don't want to ruin. so I just dust. My problem is the pottery base. It has a lot of yellowing. I'm assuming from smoke? Or perhaps a natural yellowing of the glaze? Im not a pottery person and I don't want to ruin the lamp. Any suggestions?

Good morning! I'm new to this neighborhood and have a question for the experts. I recently purchased an LV Aronson Elephant Incense Burner (probably 1920). It is bronze - there is one selling on Ebay right now. Mine is dark (from grime?) and need to safely clean it to restore the color before I list it on Ebay. I read that you can safely clean it with soap, warm water, and nylon brush - but that didn't work. Can someone help me?
Hi Ya'll Im phyllis3703 I have been with ebay since 05. Took some time off and now I'm back. I sell jewelry, pottery, glass, you name it I am a lover of all beautiful things. I read about coupons in one of the blogs, is there a coupon offer now on ebay? Also, if I can help anyone identify anything I will do my best. Bye from North Carolina.

Ok all, when I post to the blog, any one that replies back to me, I add them to my favorite sellers, whether they are selling or not. This way I keep track of everybody I come in contact with.
Theory: You used to be able to cross promote each others items, ebay stopped that though, I don't know why. It just didn't go well or something.
Anyhow I do go thru everybody's stores and profiles etc.
Then if I have a customer that needs somethging I don't have I send them your way.
Pretty Good Idea if I don't say so myself. :o)
Another great way to network your store go to my About Me Page and go all the way to the bottom - click on the banner that says List My Store.
