I've been using PC for years, but with the New "Improved" Microsoft Vista, I'm done with Bill Gates! Can someone recommend a decent, inexpensive starter mac to learn the differences on, and just get a general, overall feel for? I've noticed that macs sell for far more than PCs, but I'm also aware of the superior abilities these machines have, as I've been a professional musician and all my recordings were done through Mac. Again, just wanna get a feel, here, and don't want to spend thousands just getting set up. Also, how come noone ever sells monitors with computers anymore? Just wondering. Do PC monitors work with mac?
Ok I was talking with my newest eBay friend who just got me into this. This is a site where you can register and save money at lots of retail stores, most of which we use fairly often including this eBay site.
It's completely free and real simple to use, it takes literally a minute maybe 90 seconds to fill out.
What you do first is go to my About Me page and click on the big advertisement which will take you to the sign-up page. You put in the information and *BAM* your set. If you need any help whatsoever you can leave comments on this blog and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have. Also you can check out my last blog with 66 comments on it which can help verify some stuff because that's where he taught me about it. (Also, he has over 11,000 FeedBack which should show and prove it's not a scam or fake site so there's no need to worry about that factor thank goodness)
*BIGGEST MOST IMPORTANT PART* Just remember, Every time you shop on eBay or the other websites, you must come to big crumbs first.(before you bid or use buy-it-now on eBay). Then you go thru the shopping lists and click on the place you want to shop. That's how Big Crumbs keeps track of your purchases, so you can get paid.
Like I said any question or something you might have just leave a comment here, if you're ready to get started go to my About Me page and click the link to start saving you some money on all your purchases.
I was browsing through some Apple laptops and desktops and noticed that several members are offering older computers that are brand new in the box. It's funny since they are always $100 - $200 more than you can buy directly from Apple on their refurb section.
Why would someone buy from them when buying refurb from Apple you get the exact same warranty as a new one with full 30 day return privileges and free delivery to offset the sales tax.
Wow, do people buy high end without researching or just doing a fast google. I guess that's why eBay is not what it use to be for used products with these members jacking up second hand equipment and sellin for new.

I was cleaning my duo macbook (turned off) one day with an "e-tronic wipes" (anti-static etc) and when I turned the macbook back on, the screen won't work. After a day or two, the windows side works. I can hear the "ding", then I choose pc hard drive (blindly) and then it will load and screen is fine. Now though the screen won't work for neither hard drive; though I can hear the computer booting up and loading. I'm out of warranty. Is this something I can fix myself? Please help.
I can't seem to find a buyer for this perfect condition Like New G4 Quicksilver. I have the price set at $195 and not one bid. After my last auction, I dropped it into my store but if you ebayers know of anyone who has a need for a good reliable Mac, pass along my auction. I used to get $325 for these 6 mos ago. I guess the new Intel Macs are dropping the price on these G4 & G5 Macs faster than I thought.
I am a faithful Mac user from wayback! I just got my 4 year old son an older iMac running OS 9 to get him started and I am looking for some educational games for him to run on it - can anyone help?

I once published an international newsletter on and for the Apple II series of computers. I used II software and wrote and printed with it as well; for the publication. I still have my GS and am bringing it to my small home where I'm moving in Indiana. I've had respect for Apple from as long as I remember. When they first came out, I could not afford one but my uncle and aunt had one. I eventually purchased my GS and expanded on it for years. I bought a IIe and IIc as well, giving the e to my aunt for her classroom and the c to my brother. Apple is a great and innovative company. I make sure to display my apple logo decals, vintage ofcourse.
