I'm a seller and have had to list my iPhone 3 times (and counting) because each time the winning bidder was a fraud buyer that didn't pay. What they do is they offer to pay extremely high prices so that other legitimate buyers will not bid. Then they don't pay. I see this fraud across all of the iPhone listings. Anyone else having similar problems? They are costing me a fortune in listing fees. Ebay should do something about this.
Why do Iphones cost so much more on ebay than they cost brand new from original manufacturer? It doesnt make any sense. I understand they may come "unlocked" but does that really justify a price gain of like $300 over regular retail?
Can you only get the 3G iPhone with a contract?? Or is there also the possibilty to get it without a contract? How are they selling it in a AppleStore? With or without a contract?
Sorry but i dont know anything about they sell it in America! And I would like to buy one over there, so you may can help me.. thanks
I have had the Harman/Kardon Drive+Play installed in my car for all my iPod products. People told me that it wouldn't work with the iPhone, but it actually worked fine with my old iPhone. It played my music, with minimal interference, and it charged the phone. To my surprise, it does everything but charge the new iPhone 3G. Does anyone know of some cool Transmitter/charging systems that will work with the new iPhone. I'm pretty sure someone has. I can't install any OEM interfaces like the iSimple because my car has the in-dash disc changer.
Hey just wanted to update everyone, silicons made for the original Iphone also fit the NEW 3G Iphone. So if you have some dont throw the silicons away you can use them if your gonna switch.
Why are ebay memebers still paying top dollar for an iPhone when the new model comes out in less than a month. With the 3G having 2-3 times faster service it seems to be the only value of the first generation phones is the iPod feature. It's not worth paying for cell phone service because you'd pay the same monthly fee as you would with the faster 3G model. Surely if you're shelling out $60-$70 a month on service you could fork over $199 for the new phone.
Ok all, when I post to the blog, any one that replies back to me, I add them to my favorite sellers, whether they are selling or not. This way I keep track of everybody I come in contact with.
Theory: You used to be able to cross promote each others items, ebay stopped that though, I don't know why. It just didn't go well or something.
Anyhow I do go thru everybody's stores and profiles etc.
Then if I have a customer that needs somethging I don't have I send them your way.
Pretty Good Idea if I don't say so myself. :o)
Another great way to network your store go to my About Me Page and go all the way to the bottom - click on the banner that says List My Store.
Yup, that's right - FREE. Advertisers pay big money to get you to view their products and services - whether its through tv commercials, print ads, in store promotions, etc. Well, internet advertisers have come up with a way of paying you directly rather than using a middle man - in this case, in the form of a brand new iPhone. Its a small price for them to pay to know that you're seeing their marketing directly (and not tivo-ing through their commercials!) All you need to do is sign up for a free trial with Stamps.com (or Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly, or many others) and the free iPhone will be yours. I’ve created a blog entry with all of the details.
