INFANTRY MOTORCYCLES is an eBay motorcycle parts and accessories store owned and operated by combat veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Desert Storm. We've been deploying for over 20 years and riding whatever, wherever and whenever we can! We specialize in rat-rods and backyard customs because we realize that not everyone can afford a $40,000.00 custom with a $5000.00 paint job (especially on a military salary!). We offer parts and accessories for your American V-Twin, custom chopper, bobber, foreign cruiser, sport bike, enduro and dirt bike. We like Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Triumph.
It's not about winning shows, tons of chrome or a $5000 paint job - it's about blood, guts, dedication, determination and sacrifice. We know about blood, guts, dedication, determination and sacrifice! Check out our website at www.infantrymotorcycles.com Hooyah!
Any suggestions how to comfort my DIL re the long hours the Army Recruiters have to work? It is a well-known fact that recruiters have one of the highest divorce rate. My son loves her and his daughters very much, but doesn't have control over the hours he works. Any suggestions?
My Pop lost his USMC Ring while we were staying at a camp site near Peoria or Pekin, Ill. about 1984 or 1985. I don't remember the exact area except the place had a swimming pool up from us a little bit and we were beside a bank or hedgerow. My Pop loved that ring but he lost some weight there for awhile because he was getting Diabetes I believe at the time and didn't know it. The ring slipped off his finger and he never forgot about it. It meant so much to him. He was a Korean War Veteran and Retired from the Army National Guards. The ring had a ruby stone. I don't know if there were any engravings on it or not. I know it's a needle in a haystack but to get that ring back would be aweful nice. My Pop passed away Thanksgiving of 1997. He had a major heart attack and his car left the side of the road where he sat for three days behind Rest in Peace Cemetary. Hunters found him. I miss him all the time not just the anniversary of his death. But Thanksgiving is hard every year just the same. Thanks for reading this if ya did. My Pop was Sgt. LeRoy Miller born in Chicago Ill. and adopted at the age of two from an orphanage. He met my Mom on a blind date by chance because the real girl changed her mind and my Mom stepped in. He was visiting Pa on leave from the Marines with his buddy who was from PA and well the rest was history. I am proud to have been his daughter. I don't remember details of that ring but I added item numbers for a general idea. My Mom woud remember better. item number 250531493531, item number 390121150240
I have been given what i was told was a really rare medal. But i can not find any information on it. I see many that look similar to it but not exactly like it. The ones i have seen so far say it's a Kuwait medal of liberation. However, it does not have the same engraving on the medal as the one i have. I was told that it was never issued because the ribbon was to long. If anyone can give me some information on this it would be very helpful. Thanks
