DOES ANYONE KNOW THE HISTORY OF LOVE ME DO ON THE RED LABEL. IS THAT THE ONE WITH RINGO OR THE ONE WITH ANDY WHITE. I DO KNOW THAT IT WAS RECORDED WITH PETE BEST, ANDY WHITE AND RINGO STARR. THE RED LABEL LISTS THE DATE AS 1962.
I have the BC-13 "Blue Box" of 13 British albums. The "With The Beatles" album has a pressing error in which a second label was burned on the vinyl. The part of the label on the last track has grooves and plays normally. I'm guessing this is a one-of-a-kind item, but I'm trying to figure out if it is something special or simply a botched label. I know the approximate value of the blue box set. My question is whether the mis-pressing adds any value and if so how much?
Check out this great new site...it's beatleguitar.com, and it's dedicated to musicians/players/collectors of Beatle related gear...it's worth a look! (It's got a great area for buying selling and trading too!
Hi, ive been collecting Beatles Albums and singles since i was in the 4th grade. I have a very wide collection of treasures including the "She Loves You" on Swan, "Introducing The Beatles" on VJ, The Missprinted "A Hard Days Night" on United Artists, As well as other collectable items. NO IM NOT INTERESTED IN SELLING ANYTHING! My Question is: Where can i get these albums and singles appraised? (did i spell that right?) I Live in the Western NC area, and would feel best if it were a close by place where i could actually take the records and not have to ship them anywhere or nything like that.
Searching for poster from John Lennon Tribute Concert on May 5, 1990 at Pierhead, Liverpool, UK. The poster is about 3 feet wide by 5 feet tall on matte paper with an image of John Lennon sitting down, and all the artists who performed are listed on the poster, including Christopher Reeve, who hosted the show with Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon. I was given this poster on the day of the concert by a shopkeeper in Liverpool, and this past spring I shipped it from my mom's house in Chicago, where I had it safely stored, to my new home in California. Fed Ex delivered the poster tube with both ends pried off, and 9 of the 12 posters I had shipped, including this one) were gone. They later returned two of the posters to me, but the Lennon poster, which was my most treasured, was not returned. Fed Ex are theives, and I highly suggest NOT using them. But I would be eternally grateful to have a copy of my poster again. Its been appraised at $200, but I'd pay double that, to have it back again. Any information or help finding it would be appreciated, and I can send you a picture of the poster if it helps.
I once saw a couple of "I Still Love the Beatles" buttons on ebay. I bid on them, but sadly, I lost both times. :-( Does anyone know where I can get ahold of this button? I don't care if it's old or a reproduction. I just want one. (I'd also really LOVE a "To Hell With the Beatles" button, but here's to hoping, eh?)
I have made a 1/6th scale sgt. pepper complete to the last detail, but i'm adamant to sell it to ebay due to it might be sold at a low price can anyone tell me how much should i sell this? manyacts@yahoo.com
The existing members of the 'hood all look like long-time eBayers, so I'm curious: what's the best Beatles collectible you've ever found, on eBay or otherwise?
I guess mine is a test pressing of the "The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl" album, in an in-house jacket featuring a picture of the Capitol tower. I got it from a relative who worked at Capitol, and it was given to them. I may offer it on eBay some day.
