I just picked up a "vintage" diamondback pro 20" that had not been ridden in a while, and a white Intense 24" cruiser BMX Bikes. The 20' is a complete bike. The Intense is a frame, fork, handlebars and tires and wheel. I am looking for bottom bracket and craks for the Intense, freewheel, brakes, handgripa and pedals. I have been checking on ebay and other places too.
This will be my frst time trying to build a bike. I have repaired a good number of bikes.
Does anyone have any suggesteions in what would be he best parts to look for? and what does it mean when they call a bike a dingo?
Hey, I came across a rare NOS Diamondback RM20 that had the all aluminum frame made of 7005 aluminum. Making it into one very interesting freestyler with all brand new NOS GT parts as well as other brand name parts. Has anyone ever seen another one of these bikes out there?

Hi, next Thursday, I am going to be putting up a zeronine bmx bike, the whole thing, up for auction. A friend of ours rode it when he was a kid. It is in really good shape. It rides well. We had our daughter ride it since we are too big. It has a really light frame, under 5 lbs, the original zeronine pads. Just giving you a heads' up. I will be listing it under my other user id tinalouise0_2.
Hello everyone! Lets get this started. I have a 1980 DG ZF-1 and a 1981 SE Floval Flyer, both in original condition. I raced back in the early '80s and wish I would have kept my Quad and PK. I also have a FMF Team Replica frame(gold anodized), but it needs some repair and I'm afraid its not worth too much. Whats everybody else got?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE THIS BIKE. I HAD ONE WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND DUMB AND RODE BMX EVERYDAY TILL DARK. THIS BIKE WAS MY BEST FRIEND. I JUMPED OFF MY PARENTS HOUSE ON THIS BIKE AND I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING EVERYWHERE.
I'm glad I found this neighborhood. I used to compete in BMX when I was 12-13 years old, some 20 years ago, with a Kuwahara Nova (I was surprised to find out the company still exists!). I used to read BMX Plus religiously.
I'd like to get a bike again and start riding, maybe even racing if I can find any tracks that allow "seniors" to race. I'm not interested in a Freestyle bike. I want a track bike.
So, my question is . . . what's changed in the last 20 years? What are the new big dogs in BMX bikes? In my day you were "the man" if you had a Hutch. Now I understand they don't even exist anymore.
Sorry this is such a nebulous question. I'm just looking to buy a bike and though some old school 80's bikes from my generation are still out there and very tempting, are the new bikes that much better?

I just learned that my auction for a Redline BMX Bike has the original 1st generation graphite wheels. Someone sent " These wheels last sold on ebay for over $1000 USD!!!! Do a search for completed items (Tuff Graphites). The original ones from the 80's are very collectable and valuable!!" Item number: 270290950909 I can't take the auction down and start over - anyway for me to promote the auction (featuring wheels) at the last minute? Thanks.
