	white sox are back in 2008 im getting fired up about this season. konerko with a grand slam, Crede with two. The bullpen is having a great start and Jenks has his 0.0 era. I love the fact that detroit is digging themselves a huge hole to dig out of. Im not counting them out yet but two more weeks like this and they our done. If your looking for tickets dont buy at the park. Season ticket holders are dumping tickets in great sections on ebay and stubhub. Well below face value. 	2008 bullpen help from free agency These potential free agents seem to fit the mold of what the White Sox might be looking for this winter. Francisco Cordero - Brewers RHRP age 32 (Milwaukee is supposed to make a push to retain him, but he may opt to see what else is out there) Joselo Diaz - Japan RHRP age 27 (an ex-Royal, signable for under $350,000) Octavio Dotel - Braves RHRP age 33 (ex-Royal, always seems to be rumored to be part of package deals to the Sox when he was in KC) Hitoki Iwase - Japan LHRP age 32 (the White Sox are one of many teams supposedly in the running) Joe Kennedy - Blue Jays LHRP age 28 (left-hander whose bounced around the last couple of years) Dan Kolb - Nationals RHRP age 32 (ex-Boras client and Illinois native) Jay Witasick - Devil Rays RHRP age 29 (could be available if Rays use the buyout option for 2008) Any other suggestions? 	2008 season I'm optimistic that 2008 will turn out better than 2007. The 2007 season was marred by nagging and/or freak injuries, career lows and misfortune. All of these created a perfect storm to sink the Sox into a battle for last place. At least that honor still goes to Kansas City, but I suspect not for too much longer. Kenny Williams always seems to have a few tricks up his sleeve. I look for him to address the majority of the clubs needs. A return to speed and defense is high on the list, but bullpen help will probably be #1. A lot of the plans depend on Joe Crede. If he is healthy, they can move Josh Fields into left and say goodbye to the injury prone Podsednik. He's a nice guy and a great player when he's healthy, but too unreliable to be counted on everyday. I think a position player that can steal at least 50 bases and does not have a history of injuries would be a welcome addition. I see either Torii Hunter or Aaron Rowand in center. Which means Brian Anderson will probably be dealt for bullpen help. I see Uribe staying at shortstop, unless the Sox can get a shortstop with more production and adequate defense. There were a couple bright spots in the 2007 season. Mainly Buehrle's no hitter and Thome's 500 home run, but the team lacked that special something that made 2005 such fun.
