Hey everyone, looking for a scarce rock card sticker by the band Slayer..it has an eagle on the front instead of the album art from seasons of the abyss. If anyone has one in a drawer or some old case of cards and would like to sell it please let me know..have been looking for one for a long time to complete my husbands collection but have had no luck..I have it posted to the 'want it now list' with a picture of it...related auction number is ended but you can see the pic of it there
Just posted this same question on "Beatles". Would love your input, unless you just answered it on Beatles. Back in my radio days we called classic rock "album oriented rock" or "AOR". When listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage, I heard him mention that Sgt Pepper and the summer of love set the standards for that. Yeah, people were more likely to get into albums in the 70's, as opposed to just singles. There were few or no throw away cuts. I did not realize it started as early as '67 and Sgt. Pepper. I thought it was really a 70's thing. I suppose Little Steven was right. Thoughts? Comments? Thanx : )
Personally, I think Van Halen with David was fun music, but Sammy with Van Halen was sheer raw talent for the whole band. I'd be interested to see this tour simply because Eddie's son Wolfgang is playing guitar. Curious to see if he's as talented as his father. What do you think?
He sold out almost immediately, but fortunately a friend of mine loves him too and told me to get tickets wherever I could, price no object. StubHub to the rescue! My friend is now $843 poorer, but they're great seats and who knows when he'll tour again? Neither one of us has seen him in concert before ~ it'll be a great night!
