growing up in lorain county, next to clev. in 60's-70's as a kid you loved the browns. And as any normal child you wanted someday to become a brown. 80's came them years you hated elway. remembering going to the rock & roll concerts at the browns stadium, where $20.00 you could see 5 bands in one day (big names) not today you wont. You'll be lucky to park your car for $20.00. During the strike some friends and I got a motel in berea and where going to try out for the browns that weekend, in my early 20's we decided to go drinking, well tryouts for me never happened thanks to these so called friends and one heck of a hang over. Brian sipe was are guy after we starting to call ourselves the cardiac kids, prices to go to the games started to go up. Then for three years I sold beer at the games. Hey I got in free, got to wacth the games, and got paid too. during those beer selling days I met alot of the players from both sides. my favorite drinking custermers where the steelers, i used to set my dolly with 4-6 cases right in the lamberts lunics section (jack lambert) fans and sold out. in those days you could sneek beer or whatever in and drink up when you ran out there i was to quinch your buzz. by the way some of them fans looked like they could play ball, then it happened jack lambert walked over after the play was dead and smacked sipe up side the head and the crowd went crazy WWF in the stands. then there were my dog pound buddys, years they got by bringing in a wood dog house to set by the goal, well that stopped. I guess they firgured out that for years it took 4-6 guys to carry it in and only 1-2 guys to carry it out? (had kegs of beer in side). the play-offs now those were great, but damn elway and his crew, And let's not forget the mighty "FUMBLE" i see it like it was yesterday but as fans we some how have something inside us that says "next year will be better" I been saying that for years now. Then when our browns left we were stuck into depression, how dare modell do that to us, we all said. 37 years living there and hoping for the big one to arrive some day, now i live in Alabama where the only way I can see a browns game is if we play tenn. and hope the networks play it. just thought i would share these

I have in my posession a 1954 Cleveland Browns Championship watch, issued to members of the '54 championship team in 1954. I would like any and all information, especially potential value or sales history of this mint condition, rare memorabelia item. I am a long time die-hard Browns fan and have had this item in my posession since 1954 when a member of the team gave it to me as a gift. I would really appreciate any and all information anyone could give me on this item. Thank you all! Go Browns!
