It's time to upgrade my Redbook , has anyone bought the Professional edition? is it that much better than the origional redbook? What extra do you get for double the money?
I am going to put together a set of Franklins and was wondering what I should be looking for. Here are some questions I have about them
Should I buy them raw or graded? If I buy graded is a 63 or 64 good or should I pay the extra for the 65? Does FBL carry a premium? If so how much of a premium? What is the average I should pay for each of these in either raw or graded form?
Only $200.00 start price on a $20,000.00 coin and no bids on the last day of a 10 day listing? Sellers name is Dragonlady0909, and I can't imagine where this coin was made? What is Skunk Fu?
I have a few hundred international coins that I would like to sell in small lots (3-8 coins per). These coins are 25-50 years old and monetarily worthless, but can be sold with free shipping in small lots to novelty collectors for approx. one dollar per coin (I hope). In order to realize any kind of profit I will have to ship as cheaply as possible. Keep in mind these coins have no cash value and are in circulated condition, so quality packaging is not a major issue. I'm just looking for the cheapest, no frills way of shipping coins from point A to point B. Would using small envelopes help make shipping cheaper?
Hey everyone. I have been on hiatus for a while but am back to collecting once again. How has everyone been and what did I miss? What is the latest news in the coin world.
I see that everyone is going nuts over the 2010 pennies, big shock there.
This person with a -1 feedback bids on one of my products. It's obvious the bidder is selling the same items and doesn't want the competition or wants to boost prices on the items. Nevertheless, I email, open a case, close the case and now I want to slam the bidder with bad feedback but it only gives me the positive option. What is the deal? As a seller I can not leave bad negative feedback?
I recently bought a small world coin collection for the silver and there is 2 1953 Canadian nickels that are prooflike but rusty. I looked it up and found out they were chromed that year. WHY? I'm thinking of selling the rest of the coins here on ebay. Anybody interested? There are 19 Canuck nickels from '47-'79. Many of them have really nice details on the beaver. Chief,no comments please. There are ladies here.
hELLO FELLOW COIN COLLECTORS. beware when buying these 1967 canadaian $20 tokens on ebay . i have noticed lots of sellers are passing these off as real gold 1967 canada $20 pieces . These are in fact tokens to commerate the sudbury gold coin monument in sudbury ontario. These are not coins ,, but resemble the real 1967 $20 gold coins very close..These tokens are made from brass & bronze guilt not gold or gold plated ..they were made by the private mining company the lombardo mint . backs of these tokens clearly state sudbury gold coin monument sudbury ts-bc . some sellers are buying these tokens for $20 or less which is what they are worth ..and selling them as real gold for up to $500 . i have added a few auction numbers thE FIRST 7 are fake tokens... just fyi the last number is the real $20 1967 gold coin produced by the royal canadian mint . thes tokens should be banned from ebay !! as sellers are falsly listing in the canadian commem catagory and implying they are gold !! they should be in the replicas or token catagory and should be described as NOT GOLD !! . PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELVE.. and see the auctions posted . remember the last one is real . just see how easy it is to to pass these off as real !! note the fakes have lombardo across the lower obverse and sudbury gold coin monument ts-bc on the reverse. DONT GET TAKEN WITH THESE FAKES !! AND CROOKED SELLERS BUYER BEWARE .also please see the following auction numbers for more fakes sold on ebay !! very sad ... 190370400927 140379696262 400096717003 380189649604 380192940093 140359472689 380203566426 for some reason it wont let me post any links to auctions please see the numbers above to see ..
