Alright guys, here we go. Some coins ending today. Some auctions started yesterday, some will start tonight, Sunday night, and Monday night as well. All for 7 days starting at .99 and no reserve. Keep your eyes opened for this couple of days and bid accordingly.
You can almost have a full set of toned dimes if you were to win them all. As always, I combine shipping to save you money, and answer to any concern or question fast.
Also let me tell you all to be sure and check out the Pre-Christmas contest at Coin Space. Who wouldn't like a 1933B Switzerland 2 Rippen NGC MS-64 RB ?
I feel like I'm getting beat up on 7 day auctions. I'm getting a lot of hits but no real action. 1 and 2 bidders I feel like I'm giving it away. I have tried to close auctions on Sunday night. Is there a better time. I have a lot of nice Indian Head Pennies 1877- 1909s-1870s etc but afraid to list. If you put a reserve on nobody wants to bid, if you start at 1/2 value nobody wants to bid. I've never canceled an auction but have been very tempted. Any suggestions? I'm new to eBay (selling coins) but not coins. How do you sell lower end coins and cover shipping, eBay fees and Pay Pal fees, without getting bad feedback for shipping cost. Just frustrated any advice would be great. Thanks Charlie as far as sex or a great coin, wow I think I want my cake and eat it too!!!!!!
When is it worth sending a modern proof coin in for grading? How can a pf 70 be different from a pf 69? Is there any way (for us non-professional graders)to tell before sending? Thanks! ! And P.S. I need the dollars worth of silver..
This guy took my money for an 1887 S Silver Morgan Dollar on Nov. 13 and even had the globes to say it was in the mail to me on Nov. 23...which I think would have been too long had he sent it...I have filed a claim against this liar and theif and will eventually get a refund...but leaving me hang this long...what an a$$hole! He goes by the name of: golddustcoin He has a fairly nice bunch of feedbacks, but if you look closely, not very many truly happy customers...plus he is starting to collect a lot of negative feedback too...Don't buy from him!!!
I was happy to see that I recieved 4 comments on my first post here.Great comments. One person commented that I had only circulated 1960' Jefferson nickles to offer.I'm just getting started!!! In my sorting of Brinks boxes of nickles I have found a treasure of great dates that I must still sort thru and grade to be auctiones off here.My finds include some great looking 1939's,1940's and 50's,just haven't gotten them up on Ebay yet. In my sorting hours I have taught the children of my friends what I know about coin collecting and man they have some questions so I show them in books and do all I can to keep them interested.Often when I let them help me sort I have to ,lol,go back and resort what I let them do.Almost lost a 1939 that was put in the 1950's,,,,gotta watch them #'s,lol. I could go on for hours but I will save more for another time.Sorting coins is a great way to pass time and if a kid is around see if they are interested in helping ya,,,then resort what they did, lol.Nickles seem to be what works for me.Doing well there so keep an eye open and I'll get busy getting out better finds.Happy Holidays all!!
I just wanted to know what some of your guys favorite coins were in your collection. My favorite is a 1883 San Francisco Morgan Dollar. It is'nt woth much but i have had it since i was kid. Maybe you guys can post some pictures.
And the winner is... I would have to assume this coin , the 2009 1 ounce proof platinum,is going to be the lowest minted coin of the year.Although i would love to own one, 1799$$$$ is a bit much to absorb. especially for a metal that is as volitile as platinum... up one minute and skyrocketing down the next! i guess like the reverse proof gold coins, i can only sit and watch it appreciate. At least ive got my buffalos!
I saw an article about a couple of our politicians taking the side of collectors. They were pushing the mint to produce the 2009 'cancelled/missing' proofs. I thought it was in a forum/blog or somewhere. Anyone else heard this and know the source?
I had a freind try to debate me on the long term investment of silver. Is it safer to buy expensive coins above face value,or just buy siver bullion at market value. Being a long term investment which is worth more if times get even harder than they are now. What is a silver dollar worth in hard times?? The $50.00 you gave for it as a nice coin or the $1.00 you get for it at the grocery store.I have my feelings about this. What do you think?? thank-you for your response,Barry

Would you pay 11 million dollars for 5 common Lincoln Wheat Cents and one common Buffalo Nickel? That is what this guy is asking... Actually I think its a pretty good idea...He has had 612 viewers and that gives his other coins exposure for better odds at a sale... Just for laughs...Check this out and let me know your thoughts...
