I have just recently started selling and buying on ebay and have had/made several sales/purchases. One of my buyers purchased an Amazing Spider-man 583 and now wants to return it. I had listed the comic at VF/NM which I felt was an accurate grading for the comic. It was also a no refund acution. I guess my concern is that I will get a negative rating, basically either way, whether I take it back or not. Plus I don't feel that the book was misrepresented and the buyer has not said that they felt the book was misrepresented. Anyway before this gets to be a huge essay please let me know what you think about this as I am having difficulty making a decision here. Thanks

Is anyone familiar with the Photomax Digital Developer? I have one still in the package and would like to sell it. I recieved it as part of my kit when I had an online business with Photomax and never used it.
I am searching for a list of the marvel comics that have the coupons inside of them,, Having the comic that has them in it does it make it more valuable? Thanks Andy B.
If so, you need to checkout this site and join, and than enter the coin contest, you may win a free 90% silver slabbed half dollar. Plus there are members over there that collect comic books also.. So what do you have to loss, you may very well win the coin in the contest.. The site will even make you a link to your eBay auctions. Which means more people to see the comic you are selling on eBay..
Anyway, I finally earned the 10 Feedback so my star ratings show up... It wasn't as bad as I thought they'd be.... :) Thanks to all who rated my service... it's much appreciated.

Here is one topic a lot of ebayers have issues with. The Shipping. From a buyers perspective if one charges more than what it actually costs to ship an item then they think this is BS and you can go to hell... because they are not going to bid on your item. For the most part I don't carry that attitude as a buyer. (Probably because I'm also a seller your thinking... but it's not true) I think the way I do and always have because I understand that the box, backing board, tape, envelope, and whatever else does not come for free.
On my Auctions I always add a total to make up for the supplies I use to ship the item. I usually ship with a Bag, Board(Considering I can fit one in there there was a TPB I couldn't but basic comics get one.) Some Cardboard and if I can make it work 2 (1 at least no matter what)bubble envelopes... and of course lots of tape, Paper for the Ebay shipping label and the ink.
I average out the total cost of this amongst my auctions and come up with
an additional amount added according to what I'm planning to ship out if I sell all my auctions I will not lose money in that area. (I never sell all my auctions so I most generally do though)
I've also got this planned out for combined shipping to.
It's not a lot when you consider all the time and effort and supplies I use to ship your item to make sure it's well protected... and a lot of times it all goes unappreciated and I still get dogged(Most likely) in my stars because I overcharge in their opinion.
With that being said I have noticed a lot of BS in the shipping department.
I've seen people charge 7 dollars or more to ship a comic... there is no sense in that...but I also see a lot of people getting ripped off in the area because they feel like they have to. If you have a system worked out then that's fine... but if your just doing it to get a sell.... don't. Honestly... I'm sick and tired of people wanting everything and then not be willing to pay for it.
It's really bad in the construction area to... A lot of people want a new kitchen and they are willing to pay for the appliances and what not... but when the actual labor bill comes... OMG... they start screaming... and it's stupid.
What am I?? Supposed to work for free??
Bottom Line: Charge People by how you ship and what you think your time and effort is worth... don't let the people determine that for you because you will lose.
