I'm sure there must be others like me out there, people who just can't resist buying that next skein of yarn. I've got enough yarn now to crochet or knit complete wardrobes for a small third world nation, but have I stopped buying? NO! Just sent payment out to three different sellers for more yarn. ARGGH! When will the madness end? (In my defense, the one auction did contain mohair!) So does anyone have a solution, or am I doomed to be smothered by the huge piles of yarn that will soon arrive at my home!
Hi, new here from Colorado - I love to crochet but mostly do it in the winter. Since I live here in the mountains and as much as I hate it - that won't be long. So I'm gearing up to crochet again, and thought this would be a good neighborhood to join.
I was just wondering if you or anyone one you know been affected by hurricane Ike. As for me I was not but I cant not begin to say how sorry I for everyone who lost so much!
Hi everyone! I'm new to the discussion boards, but my grandmother taught me to crochet about 30 years ago. I didn't do it for a long time, but have gotten started again for about the last 10 years.
I recently saw a pattern on ebay for a multi-colored afghan that looked like an Indian/Mexican Blanket. I didn't get the pattern and have had absolutely no luck finding it anywhere else.
I recently ran accros a crochet pattern that went from 3 months to 4 year old sweaters. It suggested a sixe G hook. I started crocheting the patern for the 4 yr. old size and quickley realized it was actually big enough to fit my husbands chest size 39 inch. I went to the 3 month old and it is slightly bigger than the 4 year was suppose to be. Any tips on this would be helpful. I don't tend to crochet lose or tight and have been doing this for 24 years now.
I just put this purse up for auction. Its a cute little thing with nice durable stitching so that you can drop change into and not have to worry about the change dropping out. Happy Bidding.
JUST WANTED TO LET EVERY ONE KNOW, T HAT MY STORE KNOWN AS SUNNY"S DESIGNS HAS BEEN CHANGED TO, SUNNYS BABY BOUTIQUE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO STOP BY AND CHECK IT OUT.
I have just started selling my crochet items on ebay. Had great success with selling my first item last week. Not sure now if I have listed my second item in a good category. It is a set of 3 covered hangers. I listed in baby decor/other. Not getting a lot of hits and am wondering if anyone thinks I should switch categories. Thanks for your help!!
I've noticed that one potholder will sell for $20-$40 and another will get no bids at all. Some of the items that don't sell appear to be equal in quality (sometimes appear identical) to those that sell. The sellers also have good feedback scores, so I wondered what makes the difference. I've been crocheting off and on for about 35 yrs. and would love to try to sell some things.
I have a tablcloth almost done, cannot find this thread anywhere. Herrschners no longer carries it, and I purchased what I had either at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. It came in l lb. balls. Does anyone know where I can find this thread? Thanks!!!

I'm selling a lot of 4 skeins of mohair yarn. Because they do not fit in an envelop the right way I put them in a priority mail flat rate box with a bunch of other yarn that I don't use. Please buy them. I don't want them in my tiny apartment anymore because they are taking up space that I could use for yarn that I actually use. Thanks.
