Our charge port on our B130 has come loose from the mother board. Our AC cord will not run the computer or charge the battery. We have many pictures of our baby on the computer that we cant get off unless we can get a charged battery. Dell wants alot of $$$ to fix the problem...we've gotten a new laptop since this has happened but cant get our baby's pics off. Can someone sell me a charged hd438 battery or can i send my battery to someone to be charged? PLEASE HELP!

I purchased an Inspiron B130 laptop in 2006. I had it about six months when the battery went out. I purchased a new battery and a new power adapter, but I still get no power. Now I'm being told I probably need a new motherboard. First of all, does anyone know about how much it would cost to get a new motherboard? Secondly, does anyone think it's worth it to get it fixed or should I just buy a new laptop?
Ok I was talking with my newest eBay friend who just got me into this. This is a site where you can register and save money at lots of retail stores, most of which we use fairly often including this eBay site.
It's completely free and real simple to use, it takes literally a minute maybe 90 seconds to fill out.
What you do first is go to my About Me page and click on the big advertisement which will take you to the sign-up page. You put in the information and *BAM* your set. If you need any help whatsoever you can leave comments on this blog and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have. Also you can check out my last blog with 66 comments on it which can help verify some stuff because that's where he taught me about it. (Also, he has over 11,000 FeedBack which should show and prove it's not a scam or fake site so there's no need to worry about that factor thank goodness)
*BIGGEST MOST IMPORTANT PART* Just remember, Every time you shop on eBay or the other websites, you must come to big crumbs first.(before you bid or use buy-it-now on eBay). Then you go thru the shopping lists and click on the place you want to shop. That's how Big Crumbs keeps track of your purchases, so you can get paid.
Like I said any question or something you might have just leave a comment here, if you're ready to get started go to my About Me page and click the link to start saving you some money on all your purchases.
Just wanted to share this with you guys. Now you can get, up to 36% of the seller's fees whenever you buy something on eBay, and if you have an ebay store you can list it for FREE. Your listing will be seen by an active community of eBayers who have made millions of dollars in eBay purchases through this website in the past year alone.

I know we all have a slant on what we want, but there are just so many ways to tape a system together. For instance, if I wanted a Dell to perform for me as a Photographer, I would want to hear from those who already are set up. Care to offer any USEFUL advice?
Or if you like take it up here at my blog: http://outsideshooter.blogspot.com/
I am auctioning a Dell Precision 470 Desktop Workstation complete with a Dell 19" Flat Panel Monitor, Dell Multimedia Keyboard and Dell Mouse. I originally purchased this desktop as a Built-to-Order computer which was specified to run high-end graphics, design software (Autodesk products, Adobe products, SketchUp, ESRI ArcGIS, etc.) and it always performed beautifully! The computer is also still under Extended Gold warranty from Dell and has about a year left in the warranty. My reasoning for selling the computer is that I have exceeded its use and will be upgrading to a Mac platform which is better suited for my extensive use of design software. The complete spec's for the computer are listed as follows:
Dell Precision 470 Desktop; Windows XP Professional SP2 with MediaDell Precision; 2 x 3.40 GHz Intel Xeon Processor w/ 2MB L2 Cache 800 FSB; 2 GB DDR2 ECC SDRAM Memory, 400 MHz 2 x 1 GB; 2 x 250 GB Serial ATA 7,200 RPM HDD with DataBurst Cache, NON-RAID 16 X DVD +/-RW with Sonic Digital Media plus CyberLink PowerDVD; 3.5", 1.44MB Floppy Disk Drive; nVidia Quadro FX 3450 256 MB dual VGA or DVI Graphics Card; Sound Blaster Audigy 2 PCI with Dolby Digital 5.1/EEE 1394a
Dell USB Enhanced Multimedia English Keyborad; Dell USB 2-Button Optical Scroll Mouse; Dell UltraSharp 19" Flat Panel Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand
Three-year Dell Gold Technical Support Service (4-Hour 24/7 Parts + Labor On-Site Response). All included Reference Material (CD's, DVD's and Booklets) will be included with delivery. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me anything at all!
I know no one really reads these thing but what the hell right?
I was wondering what everyones opinions on Dell computers. some people think there paper weights and some think their the greatest thing since beer dispenser hats!
What do you think?
My opinion: The first Dell I owned was when I was in college a Dimension 2400. Say what you want about dell but this thing was stable. only problem I had was when lightning hit my phone line and fried my modem (answering machine and phone as well). I played Diablo and a bunch of tom clancy games on it all the time. After a few years it was outdated. I decided to get a new computer and dell I chose the dell E 510 because of a promo they had. I havnt had any problems with it so far except trying to upgrade it but dells are notorious for being impossible to upgrade.
