I have a bean bag body/ vinyl limbs and face baby here, SNOOKUMS is written in yellow all over the cloth body, Mattel at the back of the head. A tag attached to the back of the doll's body says 1996. I looked I think all over Ebay and dollreference.com too, and found absolutely nothing on these babies. Would anyone know anything and share info with me ? In advance, many thanks !
If not able to identify the doll I described in my previous topic titled "Jeanne DiMauro Doll", could someone point me in the right direction. Perhaps there's a book title or a web site that I can use to obtain some informattion on our signed Jeannie Di Mauro 7" doll. Thank you Very Much for any help you can provide !
I am going to put some dolls up and some accesories I have some cabbage patch things bike, walker, seat etc. But I am trying to find out if anyone knows how I can fold up the play pen. I have tried everything and it won't move. Does it even fold up? I'm trying to figure this out before I have to do the shipping on it. So if anyone can help me please let me know ASAP :) Thank you for your help. Have a great day. David
There are a couple of dolls that are listed as haunted that I may want to bid on, but would like to know if anyone has any comments or advice on bidding on these "special dolls"?
I do believe in the paranormal, but would welcome any suggestions on the dolls that are listed as having orbs around them, or the pictures are blurred, thus making the dolls look as if they may be moving etc.
I don't mean to insult anyone, but I am relatively new to e-bay and I just want to make sure I am not bringing anything that could possess evil spirits in my home. I know most of the dolls are stated as being kind souls and spirits, but I have never bid on a so called "Haunted Doll".
No, I am not afraid of ghost etc. as long as they are friendly.

I'm just curious. There dosn't seem to be to much talking going on in here. Well if anyone is interested I have a "Lot" of 7 dolls thats about to be sold for .99 cents because the time for the auction is almost up. You should check it out. They all have leather shoes and outfits on. Don't ask what kind I don't know. I know 1 says Brimm's. The rest I have no clue. Thanks for your time and someone at least say hello to me lol. Have a goodnight. -David
Hi Everyone, I am having so much fun with Ebay. I have twin dolls called Happy and Nappy. They have cloth bodies and floppy arms and legs made of hard rubber/plastic. They are about 15 inches tall. They have hair and one has eyes that open and close the other has shut eyes. I have found a set that came in nap sacks but mine came in a side by side double stroller. The neck shows 1962 Hasco. The stroller is long gone, the clothes are long gone and the hair is nappy but the dolls are excellant in all other regards. Can anyone tell me what they know about value or collectibility of these dolls. Thanks
"i have a rubber ideal doll that has a cloth stuffed body it is a crying doll with mouth open, and half closed eyes on the back of neck is- s3 under that is pat. pending. can someone tell me how old this doll is, and if it is rare the doll is in good condition, but the cloth body need some tlc. thanks".
We have a Jeannie DiMauro Doll that is about 7" tall and in what I would consider to be good overall condition. it has signature "Jeannie DiMauro" with "0933/2500" under the signature. Doll has blonde hair, earrings, black and white dress with lace sleeves and rosebud accents. she is wearing lace bottomed bloomer-like leggings with pink ribbons tied into bows near the bottom of the leggings. Leggings have a quarter-sized stain on the back upper area of the leggings. She is white, but her legs are painted black up to her thigh to indicate a pair of stockings being worn and pink painted on shoes. We do not know much about these types of dolls, but were told they are collectible with many demanding a decent price. I have not had much luck finding them on eBay, which could be a good thing...or a bad thing. Could someone give us a llittle insight perhaps?
Hi! My name is Michi. I decided to join this group because I recently got interested in dolls. LOL Weird, I wasn't crazy about them when little and now I'm trying to recuperate the ones I did have when younger and then some. :) Also, I've recently started trying out repainting dolls thanks to my husband. Nothing professional yet, but with practice, I might get there :-) If I get good, I might even auction them on ebay lol. *hugs*
My name is Kathleen and I am new to the Neighborhoods here, I have collected Barbies for some time now, and also do reroots on small soft head dolls, like Kelly's, Tommy's, Ken's and Yessss Barbies too. I hope to hear from allot of Neighborhoods members that have collected Kelly';s and Barbies. I am just now learning how to paint the faces, and am injoying it.
If you have any tips on face painting that could help a beginner like myself, I woiuld really injoy hearing from you. Also how to take stains off of the face of a Barbie doll. I have one Barbie here that has a black mark under her chin, no matter what I use to remove it, I can't seem to make it go away.
I have about 10 female porcelain dolls that my grandmother bought me when I was growing up (late 80s and through the 90s). I have no real attachment to the dolls and am looking into selling them. They are all porcelain dolls ranging from 12-17", all in very good condition. So far the only markings I have been found are from the following companies: Enesco, Artmark Chicago, LTD, and Kaiser-Chicago. Some don't have any markings, but were all bought new. My grandmother told me that she didn't spend a lot on each doll, so I'm not looking to make a lot of money.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to sell these dolls, without a lot of research and time? I'm thinking that my best bet might be to find a local doll collector/seller and just sell them all together, but the problem is that I live in a small town of about 3,600 so I don't know if that is even possible.
Hi There, I am not a doll collector or anything but we have a 1924 Effenbee walk-talk-sleep rather large doll that belonged to my grandma when she was little. She has on her original clothes and is in real good shape as far as I know. We need to find a good home for her and I am wondering how to go about doing that. Does anyone recommend a buyer or someone to call? Thanks, Andi Happyfamily4you@yahoo.com
