	Dooney fake... Whats my recourse? Won a Dooney auction and it was not only fake but damaged. Seller says she claimed neither real or fake so I should have known from the pics. She also said she would give me a refund but less shipping. Im not paying for shipping both ways on a fake bag. I filed a claim with Paypal and its in review. 	Dooney bag "yellowing"? I purchased a Medium Sac style "giraffe" Dooney bag a little over a year ago. It has since then turned an awful yellow where it once was white. It's almost even a shade of green. I LOVED this bag. Carried it everywhere! Still carring it, but buying a new one. I am so disappointed in the change of the coloring or hue. It's really bad. So, I decided that I'm going to send the handbag back to Dooney to see what if anything they will do. In no way am I going to continue to carry this handbag. I LOVE Dooney handbags. I just ordered 4 off Ebay for Christmas gifts. Like to shop early! :o) Any opinions or suggestions. Any idea why the bag would have changed in the first place to this ugly yellow/greenish coloring? I've heard its because of lighting?? UVA rays? No handbag that cost this much should have changed coloring this drastically. 	Can Anyone Authenticate? I listed a D&B bag for a friend of mine, and just got an e-mail from a very nice eBay member suggesting that I ask you guys (the experts) if you can authenticate the bag. She seemed to think that it was probably a knockoff. I suspect she may be right (my friend picked the bag up at a yard sale ... yeah, I know ... but she insists that it looks like "good leather" to her). I don't want to hurt my friend's feelings, but I don't want to ruin my eBay reputation either. If you guys think this bag is a fake, I'll amend my listing to tell buyers that it's not authentic. 	Scottie bags I've never seen a Dooney Scottie bag that looks like this. It is a totally different fabric than the new ones they have out now. Is it an authentic Dooney?? 	new to group Hello all im normally a coach carrier but got an awesome swap and thought I would give it a try. Im not sure what you call the bag that I have but its black with signaiture fabric. there is black leather handles ( short ) and a sholder strap that can be detached. ive seen some of them on ebay but most of them have been like the white with the colored D & B but this one is all black.
