. I am watching a high end collection of Vintage reels rust because the owner is under the impression it will lower the value if they are cleaned / polished. Reel care If done correctly can take 1 ½ hours or more for some reels, normally not inexpensive. Reel repair professionals oil & lube but do not normally polish the finish / chrome unless requested. Suggestion: 1) Consider the sale of your collection now on EBAY if you are not taking care of them. 2) Barter to have them cleaned and polished as many reel collectors are retired and would do a great job keeping you collection nice for little or no out of pocket money. Please contact me at anytime with questions.
Hello My name is Jeff. I have had an oppurtunity to buy two Great Lakes Whirl a Way Rod and Reel Combo's this week and I do not really know too much about these things... I'm mostly into Fishing Lures opposed to Rods and Reels...The person I was going to purchase these items from wanted 100.00 a piece for them and from what I've come up with in the past couple of days I've found that they do not look like I could get my money back or even come close to make even... If anyone knows anything of these please feel free to let me know I'm at a stand still with this and do not know what to do any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thanks Again , Jeff

Just a note to all you Florida fisherman(and woman), I am searching for people on the west coast who fish more than once a week, and want to discuss the trends and special tactics for certain species. I have been on the west coast for 10+ yrs and have fished from land and boat. I can't find much info about winter fishing tho. I enjoy wading most, but have done it all. I usually use only live bait, but do resort to plugs and spoons if I can't catch bait. If you would like to chat, I'll be happy to hear from you. This is my first attempt at talking in this site and hope I can get some good feed back about what I can try this time of year.
Ice fishermen, Do you know that I raise and sell Euro Nightcrawlers and they are great ice fishing worms they last up to 1/2 hour in fresh ice water and saltwater. They need know refrigeration and you can put them in a small bin and feed them your garbage. Take out what you want and go fishing. These Euros will breed and eat for you 24 hours a day. See my blog a Today.com The Wormguy
Got myself some company for the Holidays and am going to bring them all fishing...seems they want to catch a shark...no real excitement there, not for me at least...have done it so many times.
I have been blowing through line, at least it seems like it and have not found any line that is just a good all around line.I fish freshwater with some lite to heavy brush. Thank you for your input.

I have looked and looked and can't find this lure anywhere. Mann's stopped producing these and for what reason they would not tell me. This has been without a doubt , the best lure I have ever owned, and I have alot of tackle. If anyone out there can help me locate a tackle shop that has been liquidated or whatever or just knows where I can get some of these lures , I would be very appreciative. Thanks, Greg.
