	Hi,I'm new.LOVE other peoples junk! My name is Tammy.Love yard sales,flea markets etc.Just wanted to hear about others fantastic finds.And brag a little on my finds :) .Spent $3.00 on picture yesterday,typed into computer and it sells for $350.00! 	New to this Neighborhood. Just want to say Hi! Hi there, Just joined the neighborhood. I grew up working Swap Meets in Southern California in the late 60's, 70's & 80's and must say those were the best memories I have as a child. Every week-end we were out of the house at 5:30am and as much as I grumbled about it, it was fun! I got to meet so many people and experience so many fads! 	Where is everybody? I found myself a treasure....at least I think so! Hello? Anybody home? I've been junking again! You remember the old fancy plastic wall candle holders that were usually painted gold that looked like gold leaf was applied? I found one today that holds 5 candles! I've never seen one that held that many! On the back it's marked SYRCO Inc.Co.with roman numerials that read it was made in 1978. Otherwise looking like it had'nt been cleaned since that year...it's in really great shape! When my hubby saw it, he was speechless tilI I told him that I had a perfect spot for it in the bathroom... and he about choked! In my defense, I told him it was all the rage in back in the day and would really nice with some silk ivy dripping from it adding that it cost me less than 3 dollars! He said...that was 3 too much! Oh well...I still like it...and I'm gonna clean it up and hang it up...but not in the bathroom...nope...got a perfect spot for it...I think I'll put it in the bedroom! Anybody got any treasures they found lately and want to share? Anybody got more of this STYRO stuff laying around? Have a great day! 	Shipping tip...Anybody ID this lamp please? Hello everybody. Wanted to give some advice when shipping cast iron pans, trivets, bookends, matchsafes, banks, cast iron etc..Some people don't know this but cast iron items are fragile and can easily break and chip, especially when it's cold (like now) sitting in a warehouse or postal truck waiting to be delivered. The item should be wrapped first in either bubblewrap or in several sheets of paper first before pkg. (keeps it from shifting in the box better), and with enough pkg. peanuts/crumbled newspaper around it to keep it away from the sides (so if it gets bumped or dropped), and put into a large enough box. These items are pieces of our history and it would be a real shame to lose them! By the way...I have a very choice swag lamp up on auction for a few days more, not sure if it is from the Hollywood Regency period or the Eames Era. Anybody know? 	HELP...DISCUSSION BOARDS CAN BE BRUTAL!!!! Just reeopened my store and went into a Discussion Board to ask for advise. You know what they say. Be careful what you pray for. My shipping charges were whacked, my titles were all wrong. I need to get rid of my sub titles. My prices were way to high and I desperately needed to use spell check in my descriptives. Can it get any worse. Well....I adjusted my pricing, shipping, titles, descriptives and spell check and it only took me 2 days. In the end though.......I think that it is all for the better. 	New to the Neighborhood Just wanted to drop in and say hello. New to this neghborhood. My parents run an actual Flea Market in Chico Ca, and my wife and I run the snack bar and a table. What a blast it has been. I remember getting up early on the weekends to go with my parents to a Flea Market in San Jose Ca to help them set up and sell their stuff. I usually ended up in the arcade quickly, but just the memories of those times always make me smile.
