I can't find a place here on the start a new discussion link to post the piece I wanted help with identifying. I don't have it on auction. Can anybody help? Thanks!
For your consideration and bids is my beautiful carved wood framed mirror. This mirror has been in my family since the late 60's and its origin dates back to the early 1900's. Check out our blogs for some background on our house (that the mirror was a part of) And while you can bid on this lovely peice of history.
I was told they were given as a wedding gift in the late 40's early 50's, but other than that, I have no clue or no way of verifying even that age. I have several of them, but I don't know how to search the design of them. They are shaped in a wine glass way, but something tells me they aren't really. They are kind of short in stature and might hold 6 to 8 ounces. They are clear with a white "frosted" band with leaf shapes in the frost. I can put pics up on the internet but can't post html here. Any ideas?
