I have decided to stop selling my Wexford and EAPC glassware until the economy gets better...have you seen what the stuff that IS selling is going for??? After listing fees, final value fees and PayPal fees that item you just sold for 99 cents is NOT gonna make you any money at all...I found out the hard way...they say to list low and attract more bidders...problem is there are no bidders and you end up on the losing end..Ebay is the winner...Nope..not until things start going for reasonable prices will I sell anything...That is why most glassware is going on the BUY IT NOW format. The free shipping thing is another rip off...You have to add the price in to the item and then that only lets ebay get a bigger portion of the final value fee. They don't take anything out of the shipping costs. 6 months ago these two types of glassware were selling off at decent prices but not now.
Now last time I ran this auction, I got over 10,000 hits so I thought if I ran it again I could help a lady who's tryin ta shine some light on an Agent Orange issue.
Sorry ta invade but come on, we're talking the devastating Agent Orange and I feel compelled.
Recently I found after searching for 20 years a set exactly like the one inherited from my mom. It was missing the desert dishes, but it was exceptional. Mom said these dishes were ordered in sets years ago, they would have wheatonware parties. I am so disappointed that I didn't get the set on ebay, and was wondering if anyone else has any information on the blue kemple wheatonware.
Hey Everyone, I bought this Fenton vase on here a little bit ago. It was advertised as gold crest, but when it arrived the petticoat portion was actually darker. To me it looks like Colonial Amber, but as far as I can tell, Fenton never produced an Amber crest line. Is it maybe just a second, just darker gold crest or is it perhaps an experimental piece? Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
What is the maximum heat can Glass maintains? I'm asking this because I am a Network Engineer, and would like to know the maximum heat capacity a glass chassis could maintain without shattering...
My area of knowledge is porcelain. Often I end up with both porcelain and glass. There is so much to learn about porcelain, so I have not been researching glass. This piece, however, I have researched - crystal bowl, shallow, signed by Pepi Herrmann. He works and lives in Vermont, my home state. My shallow bowl has year 1987. Do people collect these? If yes, what should I ask for it?
Just a note to let others know we have a LOT of green depression being listed right now. If you collect it, you might want to check out our listings, because we are pricing this stuff ridiculously low in some cases. I am revising listings right now to start a lot of them out at .99 each. I hope you'll come check out our store, and our auctions, these are some nice pieces, and I'd like to see them move. Thanks!
I need help finding a particular piece of hand blown glass. I believe it's made by Penco and it's an oil lamp. It's about 5 inches tall with a globe at the top with a swirl stem coming down to the base. I'm looking to replace the one I had it was very important to me. I've had no luck finding it on the web except here on ebay. I've found a few pieces but not the same style. I found one that was the same exact color design so I believe I am on the right track.
Hi, This purple glass decanter set has no markings or paper labels. It comes with the decanter and 5 glasses. If any could tell me anything about it I would really be appreciative.
