This car was recently found in my room and i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what exactly it is. The writting on the bottom of the car say HOT WHEELS and MATTEL INC 1977. It looks like a Chevy drag racing car and it is blue. It also has a risable hood. If you have any faint idea or would like to view pictures email me at plsoccerguy6@aol.com. Thank you for your help!
I purchased the 2006 First Editions pack from a local store back in '06 with the knowledge that the Bone Shaker version within was commanding Treasure Hunt prices online. I stored and forgot about my purchase for nearly four years and have now only awoken from my forgetfulness to find this Bone Shaker edition completely extinct. Was it found to be worthless, or has it been completely horded? Please help me. Thanks.
Our local Hotwheels Club is collecting Hotwheels for Riley Children's hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you are willing to send us your bent, torn, or undesired cars still in the bubble, we would greatly appreciate your donation. Riley has asked for no loose cars due to the H1N1 virus. Please address them to: Hotwheels Club of Kokomo C/O Eric Marley 621 W. State Street Kokomo, IN 46902. We sure do appreciate it and the Children of Riley Hospital do too.
Would like to get some of my fellow "DIECSAT JUNKIES" to elaborate on what you think of the postal or postage pricing when it comes to our hobby? I think It's really outragous...WHAT SAY YOU!!!
Have a car here Im interested in knowing something about. First off, it's a factory defect, still in the box, mint condition. The car itself is from 2003, a 1934 ford from the radical wrestlers series. I have one that is properly assembled in its package along with the defect, in a separate box, which for being a defect looks pretty good. They left the fenders off of it. Anyone have any thoughts about it as far as value? As far as I know it could be the one and only. Dont know, thats why im asking, hoping someone in here knows better than I do,
As a seller and collector, I'm interested in knowing where others do most of their diecast buying? After 20 years in the hobby and 8 years as a collector/seller I'd say my hunting and buying sources are fairly diverse with the largest % probably coming from retail mass market (although scoring anything remotely HTF has really gotten tough in my neck of the woods in recent years)
So...how about everyone else out there? Where are you shopping and buying these days? Ebay, other online, Hobby, mass retail, other?
