My tractor, now 23 years old, just kind of blew up this evening when I was finishing the yard. Started smoking big time and when I stopped, it was dripping oil on the pavement. It was getting dark so I did not have time to investigate much, but there was still oil on the dipstick. When I shut her down it was still firing and running properly. Anybody been down this road and what can I expect to find when I look at it closer. Is the engine gone or what? Thanks!
I am new to the "Neighborhood" and I am looking for anyone that collects John Deere items for the kitchen. I am also new to collecting J D items. I was hoping to get some helpful hints on where to look for items for the kitchen.
I am trying to hook up the heater for the John Deere cab I just installed on my 2000 425 aws/ 20 hp. Kawasaki. Heres the problem I'm having. The temperature sensor that goes in to the thermostat housing is metric and I can't find the fitting that I need. I'm looking for something to come from the housing out to a Tee for the 5/8" heater hose and it has to accommodate the metric temperature sensor also. Does anyone have an idea to help me out? Thank you, Jeff D.
My 17 yr old daughter bought a pup from the feed store, and the lady assured her that he got along with all birds......but 2 weeks after he showed signs of bad behavior, chasing the gosling trying 2 nip at it...so my daughter was out with him training him everyday during summer, winter came and sure enough, chasing them trying 2 kill....so we tied him with a choke chain....well the poor birds trust him and my little girl Sammy buys her own birds with hard earned money from her (Honor Roll straight a report card) she is 11yrs od old....and has severe asthma-so no inside pets. During winter break the dog killed and ate the silkie chicken head first, 2 weeks later killed a white peacock started 2 eat the wing, and 2 day killed and ate the silkie buff 1 month old chicken, I am so angry ..now I will have 2 bury another chick and inform Sammy that her little pet will no longer come 2 the door at five, she is still in School and will be devastated and angry! called the Animal control and told me 2 train it..WE DID ALL SUMMER LONG-BUT STILL KILLS- and my little girl Sammy lost a $60 dollar peacock, and her silkies the one that was killed 2 day a buff silkie she raised....It was just like a dog itself, it came 2 the door every day at 5am and was put in the garage in its little house where it slept...and it would follow Sammy around everywhere and it came up 2 all of us when it was called and you could pet this silkie like a dog. (YOU CAN NOT CHANGE A DOG FROM WHAT IT IS) I have a Corgi that thinks she is the mother 2 all the birds that Sammy owns and a Red Heeler that does not kill or eat the birds....
so all dogs are not in it 4 the thrill of the hunt...or 2 kill and eat 2 keep it happy....we also thought maybe the dog was hungry so we feed him 4 times a day. but we were wrong in assuming, the feed store lady told me she raised Husky and other breeds, and when you get a puppy a older one from somewhere else you do not know the history, and maybe the reason she did sale the pup which was already 3 months old and was not a full blooded Blue heeler as she claimed, the feed store owner said it was more than likely killing or chasing her babychicks.......the feed store owner knows who she was and told me she raises chickens, geese, ducks, and fancy chickens. & does not own no dogs except the one that she sold us.
the Animal humane said once a dogs kills he will always kill that is juat the way it is, just like a serial killer or a bad habit, and face it we all have them, and how many of us break them. My little girl sammy wants 2 buy another white pea, but with the economy and prices of birds and feed up....i doubt is she will find another at that price. Sammy sees her birds in the same likeness as ppl see dogs, loving pets that can not be replaced, because they are all different in all ways, but one, THEY ARE ALL LOVED BY THERE OWNERS.

Can anyone tell me where I can fiind rear wheels for my 165 rider? I've searched high and low to find a (1) rear wheel that I can chain up and use for the winter when using my snow blade. My idea was to remove my turf wheels and tires and replace them with wheels and tires that were already chained up for winter use, however have been unable to find 1 more rim and tire. My rider takes a 1" axle shaft opening. Also does anyone have suggestions or a fix as to how to keep the rims from "freezing up" on the axle? Seems that I have an EXTREMELY hard time removing the rim and tire from the axle when needed. any help would be appreciated
