Hello - I am desperate to find any information in identifying more detailed information / value/ possible interested parties on these swords.....: SWORD INFORMATION : German ? Third Reich?? 3 swords…. ******** I have a very old sword which appears to be of the Civil War era. On one side of the blade is stamped C. Roby, Helmsford, MS. On the other is U.S., 1863, F.S.S. The straight blade is 28" long. The grip appears to be wire wrapped wood with a brass hilt and finger guard. Any info is appreciated. (no scabbard) -I have a sword of unknown origin. It appears to have engraved on both sides the words "Jn Treue fest" in old english script. On the blade, next to the hilt, is stamped a scale symbol. The grip is wire wrapped shark skin with a brass back which runs the length of the grip. The scabbard has no markings and only a single loop attached. It also has a decorative pommel attached at the handle, but it is unknown to be original. -
-I also have a sword I have just acquired which states "THE HENDERSON AMES CO, KALAMAZOO, MICH". It is stamped Germany next to the bolster. It has very elaborate engravings on the blade depicting a rising sun image next to a Roman type building. There is also a man and woman standing together. On the other side is the name J.M. Bayes. The grip is wire wrapped shark skin with a lions head. The scabbard is very ornate with a gold plating and brass inlays. Any info is very appreciated. -

I have one with 'B' stamps on the tang, several others with other letters. Anyone know the year of production associated with the various letter designators? Thanks in advance.
I have an old sword that I am attempting to indentify. The blade is marked W.H. Horstmann and sons Philadelphia. The sword is 39 inches overall and the blade is 32 1/2. The blade is slightly curved and is well engraved. The hand protector( or whatever it is called) has US on it. Can anyone help?
I am looking for any information I can get on a sword that was in my familys estate. It says " C. Roby & Co. W. Chelmsford Mass.". It is 3 feet long and has leaves, flowers, eagles and flags engraved on it. Also the letters "HS" engraved part way down the blade. I can e-mail you pictures if it will help. Thanks, Don
I have been looking at a US saber from around 1875. The only marks I can find on it are the following: 2 crossed cannons with a grenade over them. I think the grenade is a proof mark, not sure about the cannons, could they be engineer's? Or perhaps a company trademark. Thanks for any help :o) Ms. Traci
New to your group.I sale blades.I have my blades at a set price then I Allow people to make best offers.I need someone to look at my store and give me advice on how to make it better.please advice.
Ok all, when I post to the blog, any one that replies back to me, I add them to my favorite sellers, whether they are selling or not. This way I keep track of everybody I come in contact with.
Theory: You used to be able to cross promote each others items, ebay stopped that though, I don't know why. It just didn't go well or something.
Anyhow I do go thru everybody's stores and profiles etc.
Then if I have a customer that needs somethging I don't have I send them your way.
Pretty Good Idea if I don't say so myself. :o)
Another great way to network your store go to my About Me Page and go all the way to the bottom - click on the banner that says List My Store.
