Hi everyone, I just turned 50 in April and would like to know what size, type, and brand of bike is appropriate for me for everyday riding. I'm average height 5' 6" tall. My last bike, about 20 years ago, was a mountain bike that I truly loved and road daily, but today I'm not quite as flexible and need to work up my stamina. I'm more interested now in an easy ride that will give me room to grow and one that will give me good exercise on a daily basis. Any help or suggestions? My budget is in the $400 range. I would really appreciate your advice.
I thought it might be a good idea to introduce yourself, and share some mountain bike info.
I'm Traci - 33 years old, married to a mountain bike junkie, and live in Sandy, Utah.
I have been riding mountain bikes for about 5 years. I ride a *pink* Titus Moto-lite and a Kona Stinky Deelux and am lucky to be so close to SO many diverse trails. I love riding cross country in Park City, downhill at Deer Valley, and freeriding in Moab. I also love to travel to ride, and hope to get to Whistler next fall. Some of my favorite places to ride are Moab, Brian Head, and Big Sky.
i got a set of lo-pro mag 2 and the barings are shot after 2 months fo riding and specialized do not offer replacement part and my local dealer is even less help.so i am turning to my fellow riders for ideas. keep the rubber side in the dirt.THANK YOU

Hi all. I'm in the market for a shorter stem for my bike. One that will allow me a a little more upright ride with the same handling. I currently own a 08 Specialized StumpJumper FSR Pro. I would also like to keep it light if possible. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hello, I am a weekend warrior when it comes to mountain biking, but I always wished I had a camera to capture the unexpected jumps or wipe-outs first hand. For two years I have been searching for a helmet camera that was rugged enough and also provided good video. While surfing the NET I stumbled upon this "very affordable" little gem...the Epic Stealth Video Camera! It weighs only 2.5 ounces and I could hardly tell it was mounted to my helmet. It is one of the only helmet cameras that can support a 4 GB Memory Card to store you up to 100 minutes of continuous video and audio. It will also take still photos in series to capture the action. This can be set to 3 ..6 ..9 photos in series. The file format is compatible with YouTube and can be easily downloaded to share with your friends. Living in Florida, we never know when we will be hit with a rainshower and this camera also comes with a waterproof housing for those unexpected weather changes. Check it out!
Hello everyone, I have just learned about the neighborhoods here on e-bay -- how long have I been missing this??? Hey, I have a couple shirts in my store that I think you would love. They are hilarious, and some of my best sellers. Check them out! Thanks - MaryG
Hi, I am fairly new to mountain biking and I am looking to buy my first decent mountain bike. I have the opportunity to buy a Trek 8700 Carbon for what I think is a good price $200.00. Does anybody have any suggustions about this. I have read other posts that say it is a rare bike but I think that person was trying to sell theirs. I realize it is an older bike but right now I can not afford a new one with all of the same features. Please let me know if that is a good deal?
