I bought an Eb Clarinet about a year ago on ebay from someone in texas. The brand of the instrument was maestro. I cannot find who i bought it from would anyone happen to know who it might have been. i know this is a long shot but it is worth it.
Does anyone know of a North American source for music instruction books on the 10 string Cuatro? All I have been able to find are dealers in the UK and overseas ... everything I have been able to find here is in Spanish. Ideally I would like to find "PUERTO RICAN CUATRO CHORD BIBLE 1728 CHORDS" .
I am modifying an MB-5 bass and , when I took out the stock jazz bass pups, noticed they have 3 wires! Does this mean they are dual coil? It sounded awesome but , I bought this to put a MM style in the bridge so, I took out the stock ones! Is this rare? I need info and have looked on the net with no results!

New to the group, and I thought I would give your guys the first dibs. I am getting ready to sell a Bach double french horn. It has two cases, a hard, and soft, as long as music and instructional books. Message me if you are interested, or would like to see pictures. I will make a link here once I get it up in an auction. I will knock $150 off, if I can sell it before it hits ebay.
I am a novice that wants to learn to play the violin. I know only that I want a full size violin. Can someone help me to identify which brands are best, what financial price is reasonable, and how to avoid scams? thanks
Hi: I need advice on buying a steel pan. Most of the quality pans I see on ebay are out of my price range ($800+) and the affordable ones seem junky ($500). A lot of listings don't provide sound clips so you never know how the instrument sounds. I'm also concerned about getting scammed since some sellers don't use Paypal.
So is ebay the place the buy steel pans or can you suggest somewhere else? Thanks.
Hello all! I am going to purchase an E-Flat Albert System Clarinet (wooden) and I was wondering if the is a certain mouthpiece I should get or if there are certain reeds I should get for an Albert System?? The reason I ask is because I was on the Vandoren website and I noticed they had different reeds for Oehler/Albert system clarinets, but it didn't appear that they came for E-Flat, it looked as if they are only for B-Flats? I am talking about the Black Master and White Master. I would like to try and stick with Vandoren products as that as what I've used on my B-Flat for the past seven years. I was thinking the 5RV mouthpiece for E-Flat and Vandoren traditional size 3,5 reeds (I use Vandore 56 Rue Lepic size 3,5+ on my B-Flat). If anyone has expierience with E-Flats and mouthpieces and Albert System v. Boehm System I would appreciate any help, Thanks. ~ claribari
Not really here for a discussion. My name is Lisa and I just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you for having me. Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Blessings, Ciao :)
I purchased a 2006 Taylor GS8 from these guys. There are a number of problems with the product. The first is a crack 14 inches long and about 1/4 wide on the lower bout. It appears that the cheap aftermarket pre amp that was installed in this guitar and held in place by what looks like magnets glued to velcro came loose during shipping because when I picked the guitar up out of the case I heard it banging around inside so it was obviously dislodged. I then discovered the large crack. I am assuming this is what caused the crack. I contacted the seller and told him I was going to ship it back and expected a full refund. He told me it was not his problem and he has no responsibility once it leaves his store. He told me to file a claim with FedEx for damage. I told him that was his responsibility as the seller and I wanted a refund according to his return policy. He would not authorize the return so I called FedEx. They also told me it is normally the shipper who files the claim, in fact the shipper will have to call them and give them the OK to settle the claim with me. I contacted him once again and asked him to allow the return and he refused. He then contacted FedEx to tell them it was OK to settle the claim with me. The claim is still pending and I may get a few bucks out of it but from the people I have talked to about this they all agreed on a few things. 1. FedEx will only pay the labor to have it repaired 2. I will never be able to sell this guitar now because it will be worth a fraction of what I paid for it. 3. The seller should allow a return, refund my money and file a claim with FedEx 4. Improper packaging by the seller is the root cause of this and therefore they should be the responsible party, not me
This claim is still pending, I will post updates as it unfolds. UPDATE: I have filed a claim with PayPal and they have removed the money from Guitarelic's account pending a review by PayPal. as soon as they did that RUDY at Guitarelics became very nice and has now offered a refund. I shipped the guitar back and now I am waiting for PayPal to finish their review but I am quite sure I will get my money back. The only reason he offered a refund was because of PayPal. he told me repeatedly he would not take the guitar back!! funny how things changed when he got the money taken back from him!!! I will update again when this is resolved. the moral of the story is always make sure the listing has PayPal buyer protection as this one did, I would have been screwed without it.
I always loved the Violin. It is right next to my guitar and piano, yet I haven't got a clue on how to make sound with the bow. if anyone could tell me how it works i'd be very thankful.
Oh ya, also if you could give me any other info. like a good name brand to the best named brand or a good thing to know about the violin that someone who knows their way around stringed instruments may not know. Again I'd be thankful.
