I have a Nikon D200. When I take pictures in the day light, some of them come out dark, anyone know what setting I need to put it on? When I take night pic's it's dark even with the flash. I'm new at in the digital world and need ALL,,,, the help I can get. THANKS
Just recenty got a Nikon D1. The battery it came with was altogether shot so I went looking on eBay for a replacement EN4 and found a couple of new aftermarket MaximalPower batteries. They have already come in but I am concerned at what I am seeing. When charging them up, the batteries and the charger get hotter than I would assume they should (but what do I know, the battery it came with did not work).... More than just warm for sure. Then when I load them into the camera chamber and start taking pictures... the more pictures I take the warmer the camera gets as well as the CF card gets overly warm as well. Are these batteries safe to use on this camera? Am I going to blow the camera up or start a fire? Anyone have experience or knowledge to share. Thank... Teacher from Texas
I realize that this question is asked a lot. I'm new to the forum and please forgive me. I understand that there is a download I can get to see how many actuations my Nikon d2X has. Please tell me Where to go to get this info. THX!

I'm trying to track down a manual for my husband's old Nikon and it would help if I knew what model it is-- the Nikon is an SLR manual, low profile, black body which was purchased in Singapore in the 70's (he thinks). It simply says "Nikon" in white letters abouve the lens mount. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
