	Open ocean sail boat I'm looking for opinons on my first poor man's sail boat. I would like to do some off shore cruising and work my way up to sailing from Key west Florida to Jamaca, Belize, Etc...I like the idea of wheeled steering, but am lost as to what small ( 25-30 Ft) sail boat I should be looking into. I would need to be able to sail solo with it, so keep this in mind. I've seen some real nice boats here on Ebay that go from anywhere between $ 1,500.00 to $3,000.00. I could go higher if I felt right about the boat. So please if you have a moment I'd really be thankful. I realize that there are thousands of sailboats out there, but I thought I might narrow it down little. I would also think an inboard would be better. So please fire away!! 	Second hand sails; choosing, fitting, repairing, getting the best out of Hi, My name is Alan and maybe I can help you. I sell secondhand sails and repair materials to the world. I will be writing a series of articles on selecting, fitting, using, repairing, altering (cutting down etc) and caring for second hand sails. I have been trading in secondhand sails here in Sydney Australia since 1983. It's a one man business, so please be patient. I plan to write an article a month, in between running the business and finishing the build of my 36' catamaran. The emphasis will be on do-it-yourself techniques using basic tools and will be within the grasp of most handy men and women. 	Sailing discussion without trying to sell anything. My thoughts on this "Neighborhood" would be one of information more than products. But eBay is a major center for commerce so I won't be surprised if discussions stay along that line. Personally, I own an Ericson 25+ and I am a novice. At the age of 55 there is still so much to learn! eBay is one of many places to find new and used stuff. 	Starwind 19 hope you win the starwind 19 bid. I own the boat= actually I had one andsold it to move up--missed it so much that I went out and bought another one.
