This probably isn't the place to ask, but I'm so upset right now, I thought I'd give it a shot. I bought 2 Journey tickets for OKC on ebay, paid $200, which was fair, but only needed 1. I thought I could turn around and sell it for $100, and drive to meet the buyer for local delivery. I listed it on a 24 hour auction at 4:00 pm today. It's 9:00 pm and it still isn't showing up in any searches. My title looks fine to me. It doesn't even show up when I search by seller, so I read up and ebay it says it takes up to 24 hrs to show up?? What's up with that? Everyone else is getting the good bids and my item is just setting back there with no traffic. Tomorrow is my last day to be able to sell this item. Of course, I emailed ebay and got an automatic response that it takes 72 hours for them to look into a problem. That's nice.(lol) Anything else I can do to avoid eating this $100 ticket? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is my experience abnormal? How long do listngs usually take? Thanks.
As most know, Phish tickets just started selling their small allotment, but many people were selling tickets to their Hampton reunion before they even began e-mailing people as to whether or not they would get tickets. I don't understand how this can be. One auction even states, "our ticket alottment comes from the promoter", which means scalper, yes? Because Phish needs no promoting. So with all their attemps to prevent scalping, why is it scalpers (apparently) get these before anyone else???
Update: Last Minute! Only $270 for 5 night stay in resort that's only 1 year old. Do you know anyone who would like to be in Las Vegas during the WSOP final table? I have booking for a great resort Bluegreen Club 36 (opened last year). A steal for someone. I thought maybe someone who advertises tickets and stuff might know someone. I'm sure they could get cheap airfare last minute like this. Send them to this link. Resort is only one year old. http://cgi.ebay.com/LAST-MINUTE-BE-IN-LAS-VEGAS-FOR-2009-WSOP-FINAL-TABLE_W0QQitemZ380172947165QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Lodging?hash=item588412cedd
I've been searching for Eagles tickets for a couple of months. I've contacted many sellers, and most have been wonderful, even tho they couldn't help me.
However, "ticketsinutah" apparently post here and on craigslist.com; not necessarily using the same name. I wrote to each ad. They sent emails threatening to report me! Well, ha ha to them; as of today, they have over 100 tickets left...I hope they get stuck with them and lose their shirts!
Does anyone else out there find that the new Ebay search format renders looking for tickets (and thus selling tickets), nearly useless??? The new format DOES NOT have the section and row listed next to each item like the old format!! So...if the seller does not list the section and row in the description, you have to open each and every item to see what kind of seats you are looking at for the given price!!! When looking up tickets, you want to compare prices for similar seats (ie, upper section seats vs. upper level seats, and lower level seats vs. lower level seats).
Nobody post and new discussions on here anymore and no one replies to any topic that is posted. I think that this disscussion group just needs to be shut the hell down. No one is willing to help anyone. This is lame. It's like a ghost town in here. I give up on this Neighborhood. Looks like the Coffee Lovers neighborhood is the only one worth joining.
