Does anyone use Chrome pipes for thier trucks anymore. Seems like business has been really down lately. I would think there are still people out there that want to show off thier rides in style.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, When all through the shop, The lights where flickering, And my welder was hot, The body hung over the suspension with care, Hoping that Saint Nick will soon put a lift under there,
Closed my eyes and imagined being in bed, But there where visions of pistons pounding in my head, Now the welder has burnt my cap, Letting me know I really need a nap,
From across the shop there arose such a shatter, I ran right over to see what’s the matter, There sat my windshield, with all that smashed glass, I pulled the electrical chord too hard, sending tools into it in a mass,
Now I’m working on those bolts rusty and old, Breaking my knuckles open on the steel so cold, I bandage up and try again, If it breaks, hope there’s an extra bolt in the can,
The truck bed filled with presents to be had, If I don’t fix this, the kids will be really mad, Running out of time, the clock is ticking away, I probably should have done this yesterday,
I wipe the grease on my pants and shirt, My head is pounding, it really does hurt, Dawn has broke, kids are waking up, I need to move this old pickup truck,
I put it all together and give it a try, The effort brings a tear to my eye, All this time busting my ass, Turns out I was just out of gas.
Just wanted to see how many other diesel drivers there were in the group. We own a bunch of Dodge Cummins trucks and we make our own twin turbo kits for them. Lotsa fun! We even have a dedicated drag truck that runs 10.34 seconds at 130.45 mph. Wicked fast!
I have a 97 Z71 Silverado, 5.7 that acts like it's puling a 10 ton trailer. When this happens the tach and spedometer go to zero. From a dead stop you can achieve 5 mph by holding the throttle wide open. HOWEVER, If I load the rear end with rocks till it drops the truck runs and acts file. I'm suspicious of the transfer case or a sending unit if there's one on the Tcase but it's push button 4WD so maybe a short in the wiring??? It's not necessarily the weight but the repositioning of the rear bumper (closer to the street) that makes this problem disappear. HELP!

Does anyone need a 305 TBI with a NV 3500 5 speed trans. Came out of a 1500 pick up. runs good, shifts fine, needs clutch. Motor has Edelbrock intake and cam. I have the ecm, wires, gauge clustter and steering wheel for this as well. I am looking for a world class T5 trans for a Chevy. I also have some other 1500 pick up parts. New chrome grill, new black carpet, new after market tail lights, rocker panels and cab corners. I traded projects and am now looking for Camaro stuff and getting rid of pick up stuff. Any questions Email me at myfastchevy350@yahoo.com. Thanks
Hello, I am looking for a hard top either half or full for a 1970 Chevy Blazer. Can you help me locate one? I'm sure someone has one laying around that they have put a soft top on? maybe?
Does dirty jobs seem like a stupid ford commercial? I dont like the show as much now that hes ford this ford that. If you want to stop a plane with a truck you got problems and so does your truck. ,
