I'm trying to get rid of some body parts and would rather get them to a jetta owner than a junkyard. I have hood, trunk lid, doors, backseat, tranny, dashboard, gagues and some other stuff. Let me know if anyone needs anything.
Looking for used cheap VW carb for experiment. Going to try to put a single carb on a 78 Goldwing in place of the four existing. Since this is a try, which has been done by others, don't want to tie up a lot of bucks in it. Looking for a Solex or Holley.

My engine blew on my 78 bug convert. and I don't know whether to invest in a new engine or a rebuilt. I've had the car less than a year and haven't even put 500 miles on it but I plan on keeping for a long time and using it just in the summer. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm also trying to shop for the engine and any suggestions would be helpful. thanks
I bought a 56 convert from the neighbor that stored it since 1974 in his shed. It has had 1 repaint in the same blue color & is totally rust free & complete, looks like a driver. Husband fixed carb & brakes to work & it now runs good. Should I sell it like this as original survivor or should we restore it? Can't decide since this thing is so good "as-is". Thanks for your help, Jo.
