Can anyone recommend any good cheap wines? Are there such a thing? Or is it pretty much "you get what you pay for"? I'm particularly looking for a good dry red, that is very drinkable on a daily budget.
According to eBay rules regarding selling wine, they offer this advice...
"If you as an individual want to sell alcohol on eBay, we suggest that you contact one of the licensed sellers on the site. ...."
I have a good deal of experience with eBay so I get requests from friends and family and friends of friends etc... to help with eBay related needs. My Brother-in-law called me and inquired about selling wine on eBay. I was pretty sure it was possible but I have not done it, and I knew there would be some pretty strict rules. So it seems like the best idea would be for me to work with someone else to accomplish this. My Brother-in-law owns a successful restaurant (here) in the Seattle eastside area. He has a fairly large amount of wine he would like to sell, I don't have all the specifics but I think it would definately be worth someone's time to work with him to sell this wine. If somebody here could help connect me with an authorized, experienced, seller I would sure appreciate it.
I have bottles of marilyn merlot 95 96 98 and red velvet 1.5 liter that I would like to sell on ebay or to someone who can put them up for sale.I am located just north of Chicago Illinois. If you are interested in buying or helping me sell on ebay please contact me at mrtats2@yahoo.com so we can work something out. Thanks Larry T
I was given a bottle of wine recently and I know nothing about wine, nor do I drink wine. There is a price sticker on the bottle of $295. It's a 1985 Cru bourgeois (Haut-Medoc) from Chateau Dillon. If anyone knows anything about this wine, information would be greatly appreciated. I am considering selling the bottle but do not want to be taken advantage of by the potential seller.

Hello to all!!! I just joined this neighborhood and I love wine.
Here in California we have Trader Joe's World Market and they have a Cabernet nicknamed the 2 Buck Chuck (because it costs $2.99) and it is amazing. This same brand also has a very good Shiraz for the same price.
Trade's also has a very good Malbec from Argentina called La Boca for $2.99. Also available are Port Wines for $5.99 and my German Mosels Liebefraumilch at $3.99. The German wines have gone up a little due the strong Euro.
Hello everyone!! I'm new to the neighborhood and wanted to extend my greetings. I really like red wine and am trying to learn about them. I really like Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.. Can I have some suggestions for a few other good ones? Thanks!
Franzia customer service said they had never seen a good use for corks, and thought them somewhat ugly(?). Well, I will be taking my winery collection to Franzia in the near future! Here a few uses. And remember, cork floats, so a floating key chain is just one good use, and canbe really attractive encased in gold rings. :) From my tail jewelry site.

I make dandelion wine for my own use and to give away as gifts. There is a lot of work involved so I only make two gallons of it. I am looking for glass 6oz or 8oz bottles with caps if possible. I will use corks but perfer twist tops.
One thing I miss about California is Napa Valley and going wine tasting. My favorite wine is Chardonney although I haven't found a 'favorite' brand yet. I now live in Colorado and am searching for a good Colorado chardonney. I don't want to spend too much..under 20.00. Any suggestions?
