Hi, for some reason my wick seems to turn to trash pretty fast while I use my zippo pipe lighter for pipe smoking. Can any body give me some tips as to how I can preserve the wick?
I have 4 lighters that were in the box of ww2 items from my Grandfather. There is 1 black 1943 zippo lighter that was never used. 2 lighters that I think are British (have a seal stating Ministry of Finance) never used, and 1 lighter that you extinguish the wick by pulling it through the side of the lighter (it has been used). Any thoughts as to what they are worth?
Maybe i,m wrong but i found this web sight that tells about (fake) Zippos.. does any one know if maybe salers are running theses fakes through and we are bye them and not knowing it? .....thanks .Dave ...web sight http://freespace.virgin.net/monster.ninja/rippos_not_zippos.htm
Hello, I have a brass Zippo lighter, that does not have the conventional dating stamps on the bottom. Instead of the slashes and dots it just has the Zippo name with the dates 1932 and 1991 to the left and right respectively. Was this just a one time dating stamp or something? Any info would be appreciated. (Not selling it, just curious)
I want to start collecting Zippos and I want to know if anybody has ideas of what lighters I should get to start collecting. Please reply. Thanks everyone!
Lighter is in very good condition. On the inside of the insert it does have rust. However very little wear on the outside casing. Please look at pictures.

I just inherited at least 30 Zippo lighters (probably will find more yet) and a cigar box full of parts. The problem is my Dad was a nut for people stealing from him, so he engraved his name on almost every single case! Does this make them totally useless to collectors?
Looking to find out what I can & hopefully purchase some of the Official lighters that have the Ed Roth branding. I'm not really interested in the homemade versions as I can make them. Can anyone assist in these items. Australia doesn't get the full range of zippo lighters, I get most of the items from the USA. Thanks George
I am in need of at least 2 Mood Indigo Zippo's, the plain design. If you have any you would like to post for sale I would like the chance to buy them. Thank You!!
