I seem to go through spells where I've gotten into certain cars or hobbies and I go crazy buying everything I can to get them and make them as nice as they can be... or where they're supposed to be. I'm big into Corvettes for instance and I have a few, but also have 2 porsches and I have these 2 really nice Mercedes just sitting in a garage here in Mass. One is a Gold 83 Euro Mercedes 380 SEC with everything and only 50k original and the other is a nice Blue 88 560 Mercedes clean as a whistle (however clean whistles are). Anyone interested or know anyone interested? They're classics now and really clean. Book values are pretty high, but I'd take a cut on that to make a little room, but I don't want to give them away. I've just finished rebuilding an 88 944 for my son. Now I'm working on an 87 for my daughter. I've stripped this one completly down to bare metal on the outside and pulled everything out of the inside. Needless to say, when I purchased it, it was a project needing love!

This is going to be a "fun" rebuild, not a back to the original restoration. I'm going to post some photo's as I complete tasks and welcome any feedback.

As I win stuff on eBay, I'll display the items and show the job and steps I take to complete each task.

Right now I'm working on the body and preparing it for painting. I'm looking for and welcome any ideas or photo's from community members that may want to post them as suggestions.
