I'm shooting my first wedding in September, and I have my eye on an external flash unit for my Olympus C-770 digital camera that will connect to my hot shoe with no strings attached. The C-770 does not work well in low light settings with a max ISO of 400. I notice high levels of noise in my pictures when I shoot in low light settings; that is why i'm looking for a flash that will help my indoor pictures look crisp, noise free, and well lit with no harsh shadows. Can anyone recommend an amazing flash unit for my Olympus C-770 that will work well in both indoor and outdoor weddings? I'm looking for a flash that will create a warm glow around the subjects, and work well for portraits and large crowd settings in both outdoor and indoor settings.

I am getting into photography. I currently have a Nikon N80 and am going to be purchasing a Nikon D60 also (digital is cheaper to just shoot around with). I am looking for some advice though. I am unsure what kind of case to go with. Should I get a case that holds one body and several lenses? Or would it be a good idea (or not) to get a case where I can carry both bodies at the same time?

I am fairly inexperienced, and would appreciate any suggestions.

So far I'm not selling jewelry but I sure buy a lot and since I do, I might think in terms of doing this. The question I hope to get answred is what kind of digital camera do I need to get a detailed image of a ring, for example. My camera is several years old and takes great pictures of most anything. But I was trying to take a picture of a small figurine by Lladro and couldn't get a good focus on the face. I just bought a Canon Powershot SX110 IS. No one at Best Buy knew anything at all. Sam's Club did have an 'expert' but he couldn't tell me how to use it. Merely told me it was the best for my needs. Since I'm simple minded I need a simple camera to point and shoot and get great detailed pics of rings. I'd appreciate any help I can get.

I have a Nikon D50 for sale and would like to have available the actuations and usage of this camera for propective buyers. I notice actuations mentioned by those who have cameras for sale. How does one determine the usage and actuations?

Have old -60's-70's-Canon Pellix that has original instruction book,case and 2 lenses.Its still in pretty good shape and seems to be a high quality camera.Are they dime a dozen or rare? Ex was nice enough to leave that and a hand held video recorder and since hardly know anything about either,thought i'd ask.By the way,Ex is O.K.. She got most everything else including piece of my anatomy...................no,no heart.

I still plan to open an abay store, but I have many questions. With your indulgence, I will ask them
1. My biggest problem is getting good quality pictures. Any recommendatins on camera (# of megapix, etc.), staging/layout, tips on taking good pictures?
2. Is there a "site under contruction" option? How long do I have to build my store site before being required to open it? I'd like a little time to construct according to what I've read in the postings.
3. Meta tags? Are those words in the description to help buyers find the site. (i.e. "one-of-a-kind hand-crafted sterling silver gemstone jewelry")
4. How do I get an avitar for the discussion site?
5. How many pieces should I have - minimum - before opening?
6. I think the recommendations have been: some (perhaps sacrificial) auction items, but mostly BIN items. Fairly wide range of prices?
7. Keep shipping as low as possible, always have insurance/tracking.

I will probably think of more later, but the day job awaits.

I am looking for information on a Kodak (pat may 7 1907) automatic NO 3A Folding pocket Model B-4 Camera that was manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co in Rochestor NY. Inside the cover it lists 8 Different Patent dates starting with Sept 25. 1894 and ends with Oct, 19. 1909. The camera is intact with a little wear on the outside but considering the age of this thing, it looks great. I wouldn't be shocked to find that it still works. Anyway, I am in need of appraisal value or worth to possibly sell it and I am looking for a place to start with my research. Anybody got the knows on this type of thing?

Has anyone noticed a difference in there photos on eBay recently?? I do not think my photos are as clear.

Is there a BEST setting on the digital camera to show the most detail on small items???

I am not sure why my photos are not looking as good - most likely an operator error, at least I am hoping.

I got a Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph and am loving it! I am just a novice photographer.

I've been searching for a digital camera for MONTHS, but since there's so many out there, I've been confused on which one is the best.

My first digital camera wasnt good at all, it was a polariod slim camera and I hate the digital cameras with small lenses, it gives bad pictures.

I've been mostly searching for canon, since I heard they were the best. The SD850 and 870 look great, but are bad in price and I heard bad in flash and maybe picture, then I went to the Canon A570. I heard it was a great camera. Great Price, Image stablizer, everything. For canons, I look at the IS. but I'm really embarassed carrying a sorta big camera like that in my pocket or in front of my friends. T_T... I'm at a dead end here in the cameras.

and So I've come to you guys for help, since most of you are experienced in having it. Which point-and-shoot digital camera is the best?
