My poor puppy Max seems to always get ear infections. I've taken hime to the vet and of course they prescribe antibiotics but I swear it only seems to work a little. I wash his ears on a daily basis with some cleaner and of course the ear drying powder. He walks around trying to scratch his ear or shakes his head I feel so bad for him. I;ve been reading alot of sites that say it can be allergies and I'm wondering if that may be because his eyes seem to be irratated to. Another article I read said to feed him plain yogurt I guess it helps if it is a yeast infection. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

My store is very successful...Marketing is the KEY!

BUT,,,it took me about a year and a half to get to this point. Lots of newbie mistakes and trial and error!

Take a look at my store...I have items starting at $19.99 and as high as $850.00.

THIS IS NOT BY ACCIDENT! I have price points for every budget....I have many, many listings that are Buy It Now with the make an offer feature, I have had 9 sales in the past 7 days where I have accepted the offer.

I sell quality jewelry that I stand behind,,,,,I offer free shipping.

There are ways to do this, people...you have to be market savy and creative! You have to be willing to give 150% to your ebay business if you want to be successful!

I have some basic principles that I stick to:

1). Answer your potential Buyers questions as soon as humanly possible...don't let it sit there for a couple of days..if you do, your buyer will move on to another buyer!

2). Be completely honest in your listings....know the product you are selling and give as much details as possible.

3). Don't engage in price goughing....it only hurts you, as a seller. Don't offer .99 cent auctions with $25.00 shipping!

4). Be flexible an willing to work out any problems that might arise.

5). Don't use the feedback system as a means to be nasty if your buyer has a problem.....I see so many people who get a get a bad feedback....and the first thing they do is respond with more nastiness....don't lower youself to that level....people read ALL feedback comments, and if you respond in the heat of the moment in anger, it reflects badly on your character...sometimes saying NOTHING is better...taking the "high road" makes you the better person.

6) Customer Service is my top priority! As a seller, your reputation is on the line with each and every transaction. Let your buyers know how special they are to you... a little kindness goes a long way!

If you cannot do that...your potential sales will go to another seller who is willing to do all of the above!

Note: Car was not wrecked, something in driveline broke. So my friend parked it at my house. People started taking parts off it, so I pulled out the engine and transmission out and got rid of the rest of the car. I drove in the car a couple months before the driveline broke, and it was running really smooth. Now the engine and transmisssion is just sitting on a pallet at the machine shop I work at, (Cad-Cam Tool and Die), in Visalia, CA.

I just started to sell Gymboree late last year, but I see a lot of new sellers starting and also see some older sellers are closing their stores. Do you think it is becoming too competitive to sell Gymboree on ebay? I see some selllers selling Gymboree v. v. cheap, I know they can't make a profit because I know what was the lowest possible price for most items. I can't understand why some sellers would list eg. dresses nwt in their stores for under $14.00. To me at this point it just doesn't seem worth it. I am just curious what some of you think, I love selling Gymboree, but am I doing it for fun or to try to actually make a bit of money? Anyway, the new fees are not helping, as a hobby is ok, but as a business, I am just wondering if any of you are actually making enough to keep it going, or you are doing this just because you love Gymboree. For me if I would add up all the hours I put in it, I don't even make minimum wage! Maybe like a few cents per hour after the ebay and paypal fees? I figure I should give it until the end of the year, see what happens.

Hey everyone;
As you can see from my profile, I have been on eBay for quite a while, and loving every minute of it. I have slowed down in the last little while - again. Seems to come and go in spurts.
I saw this neighborhood thing and thought it might be a good place to meet new people who have similar interests as I do.... So here I am.
I write a LOT - I always make sure that I write at least 1,000 words a day, while my daily goal is 10 pages.
My genre of choice is Mysteries, my most successful genre is Childrens and I write in ALL other genres, including Historical and Western (my LEAST favorite).
It has been suggested that purhaps the reason that I have yet to be published is the fact that I haven't 'settled' into one genre and really made it mine. Perhaps that is true. the problem is that I have so many stories inside of me that lend themselves so well to the different genres, that I just have to go where my characters and my muse take me.
My husband is fond of saying that I will become one of the most prolific writers after my death - when he gets everything published! LOL
In the menatime, I just love to write, and keep on doing it, no matter what.
Now onto the area where I am in need of help...
Can anybody tell me how to get my picture into the space with my name so that my posts will sport an actual face instead of this 'empty head' that eBay has been kind enough to provide?

GOOD MORNING! It is still very strange for me to jump in on others discussions since I only know a few of you and I can never make the evening parties. (I'll get over it, eventually)
I just want to know which type of listing is better. I have all mine on buy it now listings, but I was thinking that maybe sales would do better if I put a couple of items on auction instead. What is your experience? Buyers-which is more attractive to you? Sellers- Which ones drives more sales?
