Vern Gosdin's last Box Set has the songs Emmylou and him did together in '77.

Vern speaks very highly of her in an interview where he tells about the time he bought her a 1st class ticket to fly to Nashville to do background vocals for him. She actually traded the ticket for coach and gave him back the change. Awesome!

He said he owed her everything for standing up to the producer one day who was trying to make Vern do different sounds with his voice. She told them he sounded just fine as is and to stop trying to change him. I love that story!!! You go girl.

Hey, hoping maybe someone can help me identify some old juice glasses that were my Grandmother's...they are only 3 inches tall and pretty thick with, what looks like a wheel you steer a boat with, around the glass and they are numbered on the very bottom. I know it's hard to identify without pics...any suggestions?? Thanks!

Some of the jean brands are OCI - Old College Inn, Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Express Jeans.

In hard to find sizes 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10. In Long, Tall, Relaxed Fit, Easy Fit, Perfect T, Regular, Low Rise Boot Cut.

Most are heavily starched and ironed, Ready-to-Wear! Some are lightly starched and ironed, Read-to-Wear!

HI I am starzone2006 aka Lisa comming back from the past just like a fine piece of junque. I sold on ebay from 1998 until about the end of 2001 when I became very ill and that keept me away from lots of things for a very long time. Heck all those years ago ebay was truly a "no frills" auction site. In about 2000 is when paypal was being born lots of kinks to work out and most sellers steered away except a few very BRAVE. Now it is required. Lots of changes, I believe I need a masters degree to list and sell an item now. Well I figure the worrst that could happen is I could screw the sale up so bad they would kick me off the site never to be heard of again. Anyway getting back to why I wanted to join this neighborhood is because I believe there is always a treasure whever you go you just have to look. My first sale on ebay that was over 100.00 (135.00 to be exact) was a set of Budweiser 100th anniversary salt and pepper shakers I bought at a yard sale for .50 yes thats fifty cents. Of course that doesn't always happen but when it does what a feeling, so weather it is a true antique or a collectible if you get a deal or if you like it and your keeping it that is really all that matters. This is a great hobby.

Is there a class I can take to learn how to refurbish old dolls or do a mke over or whatever it is called/

I paint on a lot of antique, or vintage objects and I think we should have a short name for that kind of art. Does anyone have any new ideas?

Looking for any help, tips, etc on value of a lithograph purchased last weekend at an estate auction. Resurrection of Christ, copywright & published 1883 by F. W. Wehle, Milwaukee. The Golden Lith. Co, Milwaukee. A black and white print, with hughes that actually glow in some areas with an offwhite to skin color tones.

It's a beautiful lithograph of the Resurrection about 20x24 been in an antique glass frame. Almost mint condition. The back of the frame has a 1904 edition of a newspaper pasted on the back, and it is printed in German.

I do know F. W. Wehle emigrated from Germany to hoping to become a Lutheran Minister and was an artist who painted for the Lutheran Churches.

I have sent a couple of emails to the Missouri Synod Division of the Lutheran Church to see where I should go next to get a value, or if they would be interested.

what is the take on old wooden chairs with "pegs"

I have an old stamp collection with stamps from the 19th century that are still attached to the cut-out corners of old envelopes. Could someone offer advice on which would be best...

Should I remove the stamps for closer observation...
( grills and watermarks ) ??

Or if I should offer them as lots as is ???
