Hi, My name is Alan and maybe I can help you. I sell secondhand sails and repair materials to the world. I will be writing a series of articles on selecting, fitting, using, repairing, altering (cutting down etc) and caring for second hand sails. I have been trading in secondhand sails here in Sydney Australia since 1983. It's a one man business, so please be patient. I plan to write an article a month, in between running the business and finishing the build of my 36' catamaran. The emphasis will be on do-it-yourself techniques using basic tools and will be within the grasp of most handy men and women.
