For me the Palm Tree is a memory, a pine, a form, a dance, a movement.
The palm tree reminds me of Mexico, the country of my birth and also of the Holy land - the country of my children's birth. My childhood among coconut palms, young love in Kibbutz Ein-Gev, surrounded by palms on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Nothing on the palm tree goes to waste. Palm gives:
Protective covering,
Edible fruit,
Date honey for wine,
Trunk for animal foodstuff

Tree is at once, both stable & flexible in the wind, like a faithful lover in the midst of the desert.

My paintings were exhibited locally in the holy land and they are a success for my special art.

Nowadays I live and work in the Holy land, Israel, continuing to participate in exhibitions.

Can anyone offer info. on a print by Julie Corsover showing three or four girls jumping rope. Any information on Corsover would be appreciated. Once owned a signed "Jumping Rope" (Actual title unknown) but it was lost in my daughter's divorce settlement over a decade ago and I'd like to replace it. Any help is appreciated.

Weapons of war - for centuries the people of japan feared and have honored the samuri warriors, protectors of the land and the emperior.
trained killers and feared masters of there swords edge many have thought of them as the best fighters in the world, in more recent days there is a new weapon in japans one thats not only deadly but silent unsuspecting tiny in size compared to the men of the samuri one thats hard to reconize a peacful warrior for the most part one thats served the needs of the greatest warriors for centries one in my opinion is the scariest weapon yet.

Notes about the inspiration of my art:

After immigrating to Israel, I have been constantly drawn to painting Jerusalem and it’s Holy Sites, feeling the immense energy emanating from each and every stone, monument and even from the air of this Holy City.

My paintings and drawings of Jerusalem are filled with just that energy and emotion which I always feel when I paint the Holy Sites.

As one of Israel’s most renowned healers once stated:
"Your paintings radiate immense energy, and evoke serenity on their surroundings ... Your paintings heal."

Each and every Household and Office in the world should have one or more of these art paintings to emanate their healing and relaxing energy on their surroundings, and to see and feel the presence of these Holy Sites, the presence of Jerusalem, capital of the Holy Land.

I believe that these paintings may bring piece and serenity to the world. That is my greatest dream.

I have a beautiful Ralph Iwamoto painting on my site. I didn't know too much about him ,except some info on the web. In the course of gathering very interesting information on him and his history as a New York artist in the 50's and onward, one gallery owner suggested I call him. I did. He's in his eighties and still in the west village of NYC. We spoke for over an hour . He told me about knowing and painting with the great artist of his generation and also of what is going on now with him. He's still showing and was just in a nationwide show. Please check it out if you have a chance. It's a piece of American art history.

Jerusalem long history is since the 4th millennium BCE , making it one of the oldest cities in the world. Jerusalem is the holiest city for all monotheistic religions: Christians, Judaism and Islam.
