Can anyone give me the name or email address of someone who does vintage Barbie restoration. I need someone who is really an expert. I have a mint swirl with pale lips and want them made darker. Any help would be great

Christmas and Around the World Dolls because I needed some money for my summer vacation to BC this summer. This collection is huge one and many of them are still in the original boxes.

Does anyone know where to go? I have searched all over and cannot find any info on a doll. I have a mattel doll marked 1963. she is a smaller barbie, straight leg, much like skipper, but I havent seen another doll like her. Maybe shi is skipper? mius freckles? She has brown eyes and the long realistic eyelashes. Blue eyeshadow, which is why I didin't believe she could be a skipper. Bottom of foot is stamped Japan. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate any information or web links you can give me!! I know her hair has been cut and there is other damage, so I know she's not going to be an expensive doll, but I would really love to know anything about her in order to properly sell her!! Thanks in advance!!

hi im wondering if anyone knows about the tags on barbie clothing.
my questions are:
what year did the pink label clothing tags come out?
what year did the purple clothing tags come out?
black and white label?
did all barbie clothing have tags?
are the hong kong tags really barbie clothing?
what about clothing without tags?
i have a lot of vintage clothing im trying to organize but couldnt really find any great answers to these questions. i hope someone know about this.

I am wondering if anyone knows if regular Barbie fashions fit Silkstone dolls...? Do the 80's and 90's fashions fit? ANY info on what clothes fit what doll would be great! I am sewing some fashions and I am wondering which patterns will fit...also clothing I already have. Thanks in advance!

I just received my first Barbie for Christmas from my husband! I loved it, so we started looking at them and he now has bought me 5 more. I have what I wanted because they appealed to me. Now I have just bought a box of broken Barbies, pieces, heads, etc. I would like to match heads, bodies, parts and then make clothes for them to resell. Is there a book or website that someone could recommend that would guide me as to what goes with what? Also something giving me an idea of styles of clothes the diffferent Barbies wore? I never owned one as a child and only had sons, so I am clueless. I did find a Collectors guide to Vintage Barbies. But need help with newer ones and the numbers on the heads? Thanks!

Wow I am swamped with a new bag of male and female type Barbies and they are musty and a ton of Barbie clothes from the 60's and 70"s . I am a bit overwhelmed ! My plan is to wipe them with a damp cloth and should I hand wash the clothes before listing. I don't even have any idea how to id them all. I took off one head to look for a date and a "connector piece is now up in the head, I know I can get to it. But afraid to remove others. Please give me advice so I do not ruin this for collectors as I am not. You may have seen some of the dolls I have listed from this estate lot but today the mother load came in... Help. How do I do this?

Okay...I read and I read and I read....I actually was so stupid I thought that I understood at least some of what I read....I have purchased 3 Ponytails now and all 3 were not the dolls that were described and I am having a difficult time trying to figure out what it is that I don't get. First I purchased a #6 Titian...turns out that the book that I read says she is a #8 ?...as she has the word "patented" on her tookus after everything else is written....WHAT?!....so I loose that money...then I buy a #3......she turns out to have a hollow body.....WAIT A MINUTE...THIS CAN'T BE A NUMBER 3....maybe a 5??? what the heck...I am getting so frustrated....(and broke) and still no beautiful #3 TO ADMIRE....I

My mother in law just passed away. She has two rooms full of Barbies. Not any old or vintage dolls but lots of 97 forward I am guessing. Some collectible type and some just toy store barbies she liked. We don't know where to start at selling them. Any Advice?

I recently purchased a barbie doll from a thrift store. As i began to clean her up i noticed a compartment in her back that I initially thought was a battery compartment. But there are no metal connectors or anything. As I continued, I found an oval, obviously factory made hole in the top of her head.. and apparently the compartment leads all the way up from her back to her head and .. out? I have been searching for days for a clue as to what she may have done or featured, and I cant find anything. I would really appreciate any help anyone could offer. Thanks!
