My 11 year old kitty, has a giganic tumor on his gums. I took him to the vet & really they basically said no hope unless I wanted to spend thousands on chemo & that is just a small working chance anyway. He still eats wet food & goes around, but this thing gets bigger by the day. I love him so much, & hate the thought of putting him to sleep. I just lost my 17 yr old cat in Jan to stomach cancer. I am starting to wonder....why all the tumors....could it be the food??? Anyway, it is just so sad. Any suggestions?

She likes to bite my hands and feet is that normal for cats? She also likes to scratch the rugs on the stair. What should I do?

Have you seen the "Circle the Cat" game on-line? I have wasted about two solid hours playing this over the past week. I don't think we are allowed to post web addresses in these forums, but you can do a google search for "Circle the Cat - Grandma Faith's" and then add it to you list of favorite sites. It tests your ability to herd cats, or rather, just one cat. It is a pretty smart cat, too! Have fun!

I think out of every animal I have painted, cats have been the most fun!

I have a red Siamese who I have had neuted and is six years old. I got him a friend two years ago. The two of them I believe are best buddies. Doctor(my red siamese) urinates in the floor if I leave he and Henry after coming home from errands . I have two litter boxes that I clean eveyday, I thought that it might be an infection of some type. Now I have noticed that it only seems to be after I leave him. Do you have any suggestions to help me change this behavior?

I am going to the Animal Shelter Monday to adopt a cat, but I need your advice!
1.)Adult Cat or Kitten? Why?
2.)What are certain questions I should ask before Adopting!

Looking for any help, tips, etc on value of a lithograph purchased last weekend at an estate auction. Resurrection of Christ, copywright & published 1883 by F. W. Wehle, Milwaukee. The Golden Lith. Co, Milwaukee. A black and white print, with hughes that actually glow in some areas with an offwhite to skin color tones.

It's a beautiful lithograph of the Resurrection about 20x24 been in an antique glass frame. Almost mint condition. The back of the frame has a 1904 edition of a newspaper pasted on the back, and it is printed in German.

I do know F. W. Wehle emigrated from Germany to hoping to become a Lutheran Minister and was an artist who painted for the Lutheran Churches.

I have sent a couple of emails to the Missouri Synod Division of the Lutheran Church to see where I should go next to get a value, or if they would be interested.

First let me say these are my sons, 2 cats, my grandkats as I call them, I have been upset at my son as he always has a dirty litter box and it drives me nuts, so last christmas, I bought my Kats, a present, the Litter Robot, the thing is amazing, never a dirty box at all, and no smell and it so easy to clean.

We have awful health and that includes Asthma and Allergies and things are getting worse. We must find a home for our wonderful indoor cat. She is approx. 4 1/2 years old, short hair, declawed, spayed, and eats dry cat food and drinks water. She is litter box trained and loves laps. She is very friendly and is used to being around small dogs. We have always rescued animals, so I haven't got the heart to take her to the pound. We live in Marietta, Georgia. We will give you her supplies and her favorite toys are hair ties. She is very easy to take care of. Please help us find her a good home....familyincrisis@comcast.net

I recently ran across the poem below, for those who have lost their doggie fur baby. I thought it was beautiful and a bit different from the Rainbows Bridge poem. I give full credit to the author, just thought it was a beautiful poem.

Heaven's Doggy-Door
My best friend closed his eyes last night,
As his head was in my hand.
The Doctors said he was in pain,
and it was hard for him to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And Oh...his many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart that's filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends, He's installed a 'doggy-door'!!!
