Hi there,

So I've got a 3rd generation iPod that doesn't want to charge. I lost my official Apple charger a few months back, replaced it with an after market model, which worked fine for several weeks. However, now when I plug in the charger to the iPod, nothing happens.

Are after market chargers duds? Or can charging be an issue with older iPods? Also, I should probably mention that I recently replaced the battery myself. Could something have come loose?
