I am furious!

In May my sales were $246.13. My eBay fees for that period were $80.38, and my concordant PayPal fees were $11.12, for a fee total of 91.50!!!

That means I paid eBay about 33% of my revenue!!! That's more than 1/3 of what I sold!!! How can we sellers make any money with outrageous fees such as these???

eBay (and PayPal) must lower their fees! :(

Today is the monthly billing invoice day. going threw and reading it I was amazed and astonished after all the sales i had I count my blessing only $7.63 was credited to my account.I follwed with a call to silver powerseller billing and wanted to know why is it they spend so much on promoting the double insertion fee and free shipping when at the end only ebay gain from it. he started and reply what do you mean? I reply if i spend from my pocket over $200.00 in shipping and you return only $7.00 back where is the common sense here.this promotion is designed well after the changes they enforce here and jumped the commission and fee now it bring more costumers to spend but ebay is the winner here.he reply it's in writing we only return 10% back i said its like reading a contract with fine print that only those who knows the laws can understand it. I am recalculate to remove all the free shipping now after all i do not own the UNITED STATE POST OFFICE .

Whats with the new fees? Lower insertion, But much higher FVF! Are they trying to break us? Im just starting out as a seller and seriously think of taking my losses and quit. I did this about five years ago and had a feedback of 264 with 100%, and now getting back into it and have to start all over....with a score of 3 ? I dont have a chance.....

I am from Portugal-Europe, and I'm trying to buy a desktop processor since august...
I already "bought" 3 processors from different sellers.

The first one was a AS-IS item, result the processor wasn't working, refund made after sending back the item (+-10$) lost about 20$ with fees(to receive plus resending).

The second one same thing, but this time I didn't had to send it back, lost about 10$.

The third one, since the seller didn't ship to Europe we agree sending the item through "normal" US mail for a 10$ fee. A month later asked the seller about the item, he answered me that item was send it back by the customs service. Result, refund, lost 10$.

Doing maths I already spend 40$ and no processor.

I'm not blaming the sellers I knew the conditions when I bought the items, perhaps I'm blaming the system.

In my opinion selling AS-IS items should give a full refund with fees included, or splitting the shipping fees between the buyer and the seller.

I bought my fourth processor yesterday, this time a tested one, lets see how it goes...
