how lucky can one man get? this week I will be taking delivery of a 2003 sc 430! the cool thing is, it is my second lexus. i am currently the owner of a 1994 ls 400 anniversary edition of which i beleive only 1200 were ever made. mileage on my 94 ls 400...... only 28,000 miles. did ya have to read that again? 28,000 miles. it still looks new. and I swear it still smells new. or, it's probably my imagination. I have been offered at least 75% of the original sticker price! by a lexus salesman no less! now, just fooling around on ebay, looking at watches(my other passion) i decided to click on "view sellers other items" and there it was, the most beautiful "absolutely red" sc 430 I have ever seen! A 2003 sc with, now get this... only 15,863 miles!! I had to bid on it. I convinced my wife, sold a couple of "Franck Muller" watches, and, won the bid!!! oh happy day! I now own 2 Lexus'. how many can say that? My absolutely red sc will be here by friday . I can't sleep, I can't stand still. maybe you saw the car on ebay. the seller ives in long beach new york. it is immaculate to say the least. the pics don't lie. and when he says it wasn't even ever driven in snow or rain, I beleive him. always garaged, no smoke,etc. the interior looks (and technically) is. so I am getting what amounts to a new sc 430 for 1/3 the price. how lucky is that? I am blessed. Vanity plates? still writing em down. such as ... reddream, rredream, gotta go, gotta fly, arrived(like that one) thanxma, y-not, c-ya, koolex,coolex, can't make up our minds. but, not worried about it at this time. so, lexus lovers you can see why I joined this forum, not to brag, but to express my joy to people who would get it. my fellow lexus owners. later, Mikey (Mamba Mike).

mine is speedy !

I have only been to to neighborhoods, but found this one to be most informative. With all the many! changes going on, my head is spinning and I can't seem to find my direction in all of it. I don't list 200 or 300 hundred items a day, I'm overwhelmed listing 15 to 20 items per week. And, Yet here I am , wondering around, trying to figure it all out and do it right according to New policies & changes. Oh! in case your wondering :) I do recall stopping at the Newbi Place. Thank You, It's time for me to rest and maybe tomarrow things will be clearer.

you MUST have a plan for selling!

My store is very successful...Marketing is the KEY!

BUT,,,it took me about a year and a half to get to this point. Lots of newbie mistakes and trial and error!

Take a look at my store...I have items starting at $19.99 and as high as $850.00.

THIS IS NOT BY ACCIDENT! I have price points for every budget....I have many, many listings that are Buy It Now with the make an offer feature, I have had 9 sales in the past 7 days where I have accepted the offer.

I sell quality jewelry that I stand behind,,,,,I offer free shipping.

There are ways to do this, people...you have to be market savy and creative! You have to be willing to give 150% to your ebay business if you want to be successful!

I have some basic principles that I stick to:

1). Answer your potential Buyers questions as soon as humanly possible...don't let it sit there for a couple of days..if you do, your buyer will move on to another buyer!

2). Be completely honest in your listings....know the product you are selling and give as much details as possible.

3). Don't engage in price goughing....it only hurts you, as a seller. Don't offer .99 cent auctions with $25.00 shipping!

4). Be flexible an willing to work out any problems that might arise.

5). Don't use the feedback system as a means to be nasty if your buyer has a problem.....I see so many people who get a get a bad feedback....and the first thing they do is respond with more nastiness....don't lower youself to that level....people read ALL feedback comments, and if you respond in the heat of the moment in anger, it reflects badly on your character...sometimes saying NOTHING is better...taking the "high road" makes you the better person.

6) Customer Service is my top priority! As a seller, your reputation is on the line with each and every transaction. Let your buyers know how special they are to you... a little kindness goes a long way!

I am not trying to kid anyone here...to have successful ebay sales...you must be willing to give it your all...24/7

If you cannot do that...your potential sales will go to another seller who is willing to do all of the above!
