You're not alone! I'm 38 and still love AC/DC, Def Leppard, all the good hard rock stuff from the 80's. I even had a drummer of a band call me the 80's guru! LOL
Oh, boy! I am so retro and 80's. Poison, Ratt, Aerosmith, if it has any loud beats and clangs I love it...Especially Motley Crue! But now, I still like some of the other stuff like, Madonna, she still gets better and the Gogo's and even Cyndi Lauper!
I do love the 80's! My husband loves the metal bands, we share the love of the punk bands but I love the pop music of that era. The funny thing is that I swear it is one of the things that holds our marriage together (17 years). He will start a song line and Im supposed to finish it, he gets so excited when I do. What a freak...like I gave him a piece of candy or something. I am still in love with Billy Idol. Does it get any hotter?
Can't say I disagree with anyone. My parents made me listen to their music (60s) until I heard Van Halen for the first time. Yep....been hooked ever since.
I'm 40, & yes I'm an 80s fanatic! I listen to it all from pop to hair metal to the soft rock, the punk & the alternative....I love it all! When "1985" by Bowling for Soup came out, my kids said it described me perfect. I have some mullet & big hair pix if anybody is interested...... (LOL!)
Hey I'm 17 yrs. old. and I love the 80s. Heavy Metal!!!! Sure I know I wasn't there when those bands played. I hate todays "Metal" sounds like crap. 80s is the only way to go.

Woohoo, Rock and roll. I love 80's hair bands. Also now that all these 80's tv shows are being redone and I see people with polo shirts with the collars up it's like the 80's never stopped.
