Digging around a junky old shed at an estate sale I found this Steppenwolf Poster? Sign? THING. It is cardboard, has the Monster album cover art on the front. The back is all over covered with black and white phycadelic op-art. NOT the same as the art on the back of the album. The piece measures 14 1/2 x 14 1/2", at largest point (Large rounded corners) and 13 x 13" across center. This whole item is sealed in clear, thick plastic that has holes for hanging in each corner. Husband thinks it may be an advert from a record store. I can email a photo. s.jandreau@cox.net. No plans to sell except thru a legit ebay auction. I would like to know what it is in case I decide to auction it. Thanks in advance, rockers.

Steppenwolf Monster album....1972 maybe... Title cut is a long political song about problems in the world, greed , drug addiction, war etc.... Actually a very good album... Another song is called Draft Resistor... about the Veitnam War.... Most songs written by John Kay....."Born to be Wild" fame.... Currently living off royalies in southern Williamson county Tn. in an area close to Natchez Trace.

Cover art on the album was considered pretty good at the time.. Thanks, Mike
